A message is sent by a message tracking device to at least one device that is configured to report status of internal processing of content within the message. The reported status of the internal processing of the content within the message by the at least one device is monitored.

Monitoring of subscriber message processing in a publish/subscribe messaging environment

A method for managing a plurality of messages associated with an online messaging system is provided. The method may include receiving a message from a messaging source. The method may also include determining whether the messaging source associated with the received message is trusted. The method may further include tagging the received message or storing the received message, wherein the tagging and the storing is based on the determination that the messaging source is not trusted. The method may additionally include validating the received message.

Taint mechanism for messaging system

In an embodiment of the invention, a method for wireless power generation for managing power distribution in a wireless environment is provided. The method includes receiving a request from a device to connect to a wireless power distribution base station, authenticating the device, determining a lease period during which time power is to be delivered wirelessly to the device in response to authenticating the device, and delivering power wirelessly from the wireless power distribution base station to the device for the duration of the lease period, but subsequent to the lease period, discontinuing delivery of power wirelessly to the device.

Managing power distribution

A message associated with a subscription topic hosted by a publish/subscribe message tracking device is sent by the publish/subscribe message tracking device to at least one subscriber device that is registered to the subscription topic and configured to report action completion processing based upon content of the message. The action completion processing based upon content of the message by the at least one subscriber device is monitored.

A message published by a publisher device and associated with a subscription topic hosted by a publish/subscribe message tracking device is received at the publish/subscribe message tracking device. A determination is made to monitor action completion processing of the message by at least one subscriber device. The message is sent to the at least one subscriber device that is registered to the subscription topic and configured to report action completion processing of the message. The action completion processing of the message by the at least one subscriber device is monitored. Monitoring results of the monitored action completion processing are published.

A screen capture application captures image data by receiving a signal defining a display area for which image data is to be captured, accessing metadata relating to components within the defined display area, and, for components within the display area, storing an image of the component and storing associated position data. The screen capture application may store positional relationships between the components within the defined display area, the positional relationships including ordering of the components relative to each other. The screen capture application may store the components as a plurality of layers within a layered image file. The screen capture application may store the component images in respective files and store the position data in a control file. The control file may include details of the respective component image files.

Capturing image data

In response to publication of a topic message on a topic to a messaging system by a publisher application, a determination is made as to whether any subscriber applications are registered for the topic. In response to determining that at least one subscriber application is registered for the topic, the published topic message is delivered to each registered subscriber application. In response to determining that no subscriber applications are registered for the topic, the published topic message is stored and in response to receipt of a first subsequent subscription request from a new subscriber application for the topic, the stored published topic message is delivered to the new subscriber application.

Controlling message delivery in publish/subscribe messaging

Control and/or feedback are provided for message publication in a publish/subscribe messaging environment. A number of different aspects are disclosed, and an embodiment may include one or more of these aspects. In each aspect, each subscribing application has an associated importance level for a subscription, and this importance level may vary among subscriptions for different message topics. Each published message has an associated topic. In some aspects, each published message also has associated criteria, where the criteria are specified with regard to message classification. In preferred embodiments, the message classification comprises importance criteria specifying requirements for importance level of subscribers registered for the topic of that message. Feedback can be provided regarding whether a message publication meets the importance criteria. Control over message publication can be based on whether a message publication meets the importance criteria.
