Techniques are described for identifying and/or authenticating entities using a combination of independent identification technologies and/or platforms. In one embodiment, a system can comprising a memory that stores computer executable components and a processor that executes the computer executable components stored in the memory. The computer executable components can comprise a reception component that receives image data captured of a person, and an identification component that employs two or more independent identification technologies and/or platforms to determine an identity of the person based on the image data. In some embodiments, the two or more independent identification technologies are selected from a group consisting of: facial recognition, object recognition, text recognition, and gait recognition.

Entity identification and authentication using a combination of independent identification technologies or platforms and applications thereof

Techniques for creating, configuring, and employing diffusion light devices are presented. Such light device(s) can comprise or be associated with a light management component (LMC) that can employ sensors to monitor environmental conditions in a defined area of people or vehicles, and a diffusion component that can diffuse or otherwise process light. At a least a portion of the diffusion component and/or a light component can be formed of a fabric that can emit light and/or diffuse light. LMC can enhance function of the light device to manage diffusion of light or perform other tasks to enhance user experience and safety and security of people or vehicles. Based on results of analyzing sensor data relating to the conditions, LMC can determine and facilitate implementing an adjustment(s) to a parameter(s) of the diffusion component or light component to achieve desired emission or diffusion of light.

A parking space light can identify, via one or more instruments of the parking space light, a set of parking spaces in a defined region of a parking structure in which the parking space light is installed, monitor, via the one or more instruments, the set of parking spaces, and determine respective occupied statuses of parking spaces of the set of parking spaces, wherein the respective occupied statuses indicate whether the parking spaces are occupied or unoccupied.

The system further includes a server configured to associate ticketing information with an identity of the user, receive the image of the user's face from the event site device, determine the identity of the user based on facial feature information stored for the user, retrieve the ticketing information associated with the user, and transmit the ticketing information to the event site device for presentation on the display.

Techniques for employing an enhanced light device to determine desirable information to a user are presented. Such light device(s) can comprise or be associated with a light management component (LMC) that can employ sensors to monitor respective characteristics or conditions of a device, an environment, and/or a user to determine respective contexts for the device, environment, or user, wherein the user can interact with or be in proximity to the device or environment. The light device(s) collects data, including sensor data, relating to the device or environment from the device, the environment, or other data sources. The LMC determines a desirable subset of information to present to the user based on the respective contexts. The LMC facilitates presenting the desirable subset of information to the user via the light device or a communication device of the user that is communicatively connected to the light device.

Techniques for creating, configuring, and employing flow management lights are presented. Such light(s) can comprise or be associated with a flow management component (FMC) that can employ sensors to monitor environmental conditions in a defined area of people or vehicle traffic, and can enhance its function to manage flow and security of the people or vehicle traffic. Such light(s) can be installed in a defined area. FMC can monitor and determine a context associated with the defined area, and can adjust light output or another parameter(s) of one or more lights based on the determined context. Over time, FMC can learn contexts of people or vehicle traffic at various times and adjust operations accordingly for the particular context at a specific time. FMC can control operations of such light(s) in relation to enhancing security and safety of people or traffic, business and sales operations, and other objectives.

A purifier light can determine characteristics of the environment in which the purifier light is installed, determine capabilities of purifier light, determine one or more objectives of the installation of purifier light related to purification of the environment, perform a self-configuration of purifier light according to the determined one or more objectives, and determine and execute suitable actions for purifier light to perform to achieve the determined one or more objectives.

Techniques for smart light and lighting drywall are provided. A system and/or method can comprise a smart light comprising at least one light bulb; and a lighting drywall comprising: a power source; a mesh configured to provide power from the power source using a wireless power transfer mechanism; wherein the smart light is removably attachable to a plurality of locations on the lighting drywall and configured to receive the power using the wireless power transfer mechanism at respective locations of the plurality of locations.
