An emergency notification system is provided including a switching unit, a plurality of communications devices communicatively in communication with the switching unit, an emergency response unit in communication with the switching unit, a plurality of receiving units in communication with the switching unit. Each of the communications devices is configured to transmit an emergency notification to the switching unit which includes a message and at least one receiving unit address. Further, the switching unit is configured to receive the emergency notification from at least one of the plurality of communication devices and to rebroadcast the emergency notification contained in the message to the emergency response unit and to the receiving unit corresponding to the receiving unit address.

A method for storing data with a digital image comprises providing a digital camera for capturing and storing digital images, the digital camera having a controller, a storage medium, a data entry mechanism, and a positioning system. The method further includes the camera receiving direction from a user to capture a digital image and capturing and storing the digital image in response to the user's direction. Additionally, the positioning system determines location information corresponding to the location of the digital camera when the image is captured. The camera receives user-supplied data input to be associated with the captured digital image captured via the data entry mechanism and the controller automatically associates the user-supplied data input and the location information with the digital image and stores the data input, the location information, and the digital image in the storage medium as a combined data file.

System and method for storing and displaying data with digital images

A bandwidth negotiation system including a first network, a plurality of end user devices in communication with the network, a multiplexing unit communicatively coupled to the network, a second network, and an analyzing unit in communication with a second network. In addition, one of the plurality of end user devices is configured to send a data message to the multiplexing unit via the first network, and the analyzing unit is configured to receive the data message from the multiplexing unit via the second network and to extract a first identifier and a second identifier from the data message.
