A system and computer-implemented method for detecting concealed cargo and/or concealed passengers in a vehicle includes obtaining weight distribution data for the vehicle; obtaining vehicle loading data; measuring a center of mass of the vehicle to obtain an actual center of mass position of the vehicle; and executing one or more computer program modules configured to determined a predicted center of mass position of the vehicle using the obtained vehicle loading data and the obtained weight distribution data of the vehicle; compare the actual center of mass position of the vehicle with the predicted center of mass position of the vehicle; and provide a signal if the actual center of mass position of the vehicle departs from the predicted center of mass position of the vehicle by at least a predetermined threshold, the signal being representative of concealed cargo and/or concealed passengers in the vehicle.

System and method for detection of concealed cargo in a vehicle by center of mass measurement

Methods and apparatus for aircraft turbulence detection

A fitted sheet having a top panel and side and end panels for covering the top, sides and ends of the mattress. A one-piece elastic band of generally cylindrical cross-section has end portions attached by band end anchors to one end panel of the fitted sheet, and the band is slidably connected intermediate its ends by intermediate band connectors to opposite side panels of the sheet in a manner such that an intermediate section of the band extends between the side panels of the sheet generally parallel to the end panel and corner sections of the band extend generally diagonally from the intermediate band sections to the end panel. The intermediate band connectors are arranged to allow sliding of the band to substantially equalize the tension of the corner band sections with the intermediate band section of the elastic band.

Fitted sheet with sheet retainer

A fitted sheet comprising top, side and end panels for covering the top, sides and ends of a mattress with adjacent ends of the side and end panels connected together to form vertical corners and with the lower portions of the side and end panels extending into underlying relation with the underside of the mattress. Elastic corner bands are attached to each side panel at a location spaced from one end panel and are otherwise attached to the same end panel to extend diagonally therebetween, and a cross band is attached to the lower edges of the side panels at a location adjacent the point of attachment of the corner bands thereto. An embodiment is also disclosed in which a separate mattress pad is removably attached to the underside of the top panel of the fitted sheet.

Fitted sheet

A fitted sheet comprising top, side and end panels for covering the top, sides and ends of a mattress with adjacent ends of the side and end panels connected together to form vertical corners and with the lower portions of the side and end panels extending into underlying relation with the underside of the mattress. Elastic corner bands are attached to each side panel at a location adjacent one end panel and are otherwise attached to the same end panel. A cross band is attached to the lower edges of the side panels at a location adjacent the point of attachment of the corner bands thereto.

A polarity indicating and reversing unit for connecting a power supply line to a load line, the unit having a polarity indicating lamp for indicating a reverse polarity condition at the load and and a polarity reversing switch for reversing the polarity of the voltage applied to the load and to the polarity indicator so that the polarity indicator also indicates when the reversed polarity condition has been corrected. The application also discloses a polarity indicating and reversing unit for connecting two two-wire plus ground power supply lines each having a neutral and a hot inlet conductor to a single three-wire plus ground load line having a common neutral and two hot outlet conductors. The latter polarity reversing unit has a polarity indicator lamp for indicating when above ground potential is applied to the neutral outlet conductor, and two polarity reversing switches which are selectively operable to reverse polarity of the connections of either of the two inlet lines to the common outlet line. The unit has two inlet plugs adapted for connection to the two power supply lines and automatic disconnect relays are provided to electrically disconnect either of the inlet plugs from the unit when a power supply line is not connected to that inlet plug.

Polarity indicating and reversing unit

A trailer hitch particularly for recreational vehicles of the type having a rear cross frame member, a vehicle bumper spaced rearwardly from the cross frame member and a holding tank dump tube with its outlet at a location intermediate the ends of the rear cross frame member. The trailer hitch has mounting plates attached to the rear frame member at opposite sides of the dump tube outlet and the trailer hitch has a generally U-shaped bracket that extends downwardly and rearwardly from the mounting plates to a level below the vehicle bumper and a panel member that extends rearwardly from the U-shaped hitch bracket with trailer coupling means at the rear end thereof.
