A method and apparatus for providing a sliding closet. The sliding closet comprises an exterior wall, a first wall, a second wall, a number of openings, a movement system, and a number of cavities. The exterior wall faces into a passenger cabin of a vehicle. The first wall and the second wall are perpendicular to the exterior wall. The number of openings is parallel to the exterior wall. The number of cavities is formed by the exterior wall, the first wall, the second wall, and the number of openings.

Sliding closet

A system and method for implementing a layout of passenger arrangements using previously designed configurations. A plurality of tools for implementing a layout of passenger arrangements using previously designed configurations is provided. The plurality of tools comprise a previously designed configurations identification and selection tool configured for selecting previously designed configurations to include in the layout of passenger arrangements and a previously designed configuration visualization tool for displaying a degree to which the layout of passenger arrangements comprises previously designed configurations. A tool selection user interface may be provided to receive input from an operator identifying a one of the plurality of tools to run.

A cable mounting device for securing a cable. The cable mounting device includes a spacer having an elongated body with a base end and a top end distal from the base end. The cable mounting device further includes a cable fastener integrally formed with the spacer on a side of the elongated body approximate to the top end. The cable fastener includes a locking head and a strap that engage to form a closed loop that is non-overlapping with an area directly above the top end of the spacer.

Tool-free cable mounting device

The disclosure provides for an aircraft video control station. In an embodiment, the aircraft video control station comprises a wall mounted control panel, a desktop, a seat that is stowed when not in use, and a cabinet that contains the wall mounted control panel, the desktop, and the seat. The cabinet may have a depth in the range of about 10 inches to about 37 inches, and preferably has a depth of 15 inches. The seat may be in the form of a swing out seat.

A vent baffle includes a vent panel having a vent panel opening; a blowout panel carried by the vent panel and covering the vent panel opening; a plurality of fastener openings provided in the blowout panel; a plurality of tear slits communicating with the plurality of fastener openings, respectively; and a plurality of panel fasteners extending through the plurality of fastener openings, respectively, and engaging the blowout panel.

Vent baffle

A retaining component for securing an external structure or panel to a seat track within a mobile platform, such as an aircraft. The retaining component includes a pair of flexible flanges that are adapted to engage an external component or panel, in one example a seat track in a commercial aircraft cabin area. The retaining component also includes a base portion having a flexible portion with at least one locking tab protruding therefrom. One or more hook-shaped engaging tabs also protrude from the base portion. The engaging tabs and the locking tab enable the retaining component to be secured to a flange of a seat track having a plurality of spaced apart holes in a manner that does not require any external threaded or rivet style fastening elements, or the use of separate assembly tools. The retaining component, in one form, is a single piece, lightweight, integrally formed component that is ideally suited for use in mobile platforms such as commercial aircraft where assembly time and costs are important considerations in the manufacture of a commercial aircraft.
