A modular leaning post kit for a boat includes a seat base and a pair of seat legs, the seat base being removably installable onto the seat legs to provide an assembled leaning post structure, and the assembled leaning post structure being installable onto a boat. Additional leaning post structures that may optionally be added onto the assembled leaning post structure, comprising one or more of a foot rest, a grab rail, a back rest/fishing rod holder, an upholstered seat top, and an upholstered back rest.

Modular leaning post for boats

A top mountable on a boat. The top includes a tower having an upper tower portion pivotally connected to a lower tower portion, and a cover connected to the upper tower portion and having a plurality of rigid panels hingedly connected to one another. The top is pivotable and foldable from an erected orientation in which the upper rigid tower portion is positioned directly above the lower rigid tower portion and the rigid panels are oriented in a parallel planar relationship above the upper rigid tower portion to a storage orientation. In the storage orientation the upper rigid tower portion is pivoted relative to the to the lower rigid tower portion and the rigid panels are oriented in a folded orientation relative to one another.

In one embodiment of the invention, a boat is provided which includes a deck; a plurality of pontoons extending in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the deck, the deck being attached to the pontoons; and a hull portion attached to and extending from one of the pontoons. The hull portion extends outwardly to a distance wider than the pontoon to which it is attached, and the hull portion extends farther rearwardly than any of the pontoons.

Folding bimini

A sun cover for use with a boat tower having an elevated tow point. The cover includes a frame having a forward portion and a rear portion located adjacent to the forward portion, with at least a portion of the rear portion being spaced above or below the forward portion, defining a gap defined above or below a trailing portion of the forward portion and a leading portion of the rear portion. The frame is mounted to the tower and oriented relative to the tower so that the tow point is accessible via the gap such that a tow rope connected to the tow point extends rearwardly from the tow point via the gap and the cover does not interfere with a tow rope attached to the tow point during use of the boat to pull a person being towed by the boat using the tow rope.
