A liquid delivery system cap device is provided. In some embodiments, an example cap device includes a body defining a cavity configured to receive at least a portion of a liquid delivery device, a first sensor configured to output a first sensor signal indicative of a plunger of the liquid delivery device, a second sensor configured to output a second sensor signal indicative of a position, and a processor configured to detect a plunger of the liquid delivery device based on a variation in the sensor signal of the first sensor and to determine a corresponding position based on a sensor signal output by the second sensor.

Liquid delivery cap devices, systems, and methods

A liquid delivery system cap device is provided. In some embodiments, an example cap device includes a body defining a cavity configured to receive at least a portion of a liquid delivery device, a first sensor configured to output a first sensor signal indicative of a plunger of the liquid delivery device, and a processor configured to detect a plunger of the liquid delivery device based on a variation in the sensor signal of the first sensor.

Automated cold storage unit and systems for storing, monitoring, and maintaining a supply of temperature sensitive pharmaceutical and/or other products in compliance with regulatory requirements are provided. Such units contain an array of independently addressable holding locations for containers with product in one or more controlled temperature zones fitted with temperature sensors. The units include a reader to track product information and status. Product movement within the unit is performed by a computer-controlled robot. A user interface device, preferably in communication with an application service provider to provide remotely managed inventory management and other services, provides users with secure access to the contents of the unit and associated product data and information.

A liquid delivery system cap device is provided. In some embodiments, an example cap device includes a body defining a cavity configured to receive at least a portion of a liquid delivery device, and a sensor carriage movable within the cavity and including a first sensor. The sensor carriage may be movable between a first position and a second position relative to the cavity while the liquid delivery device is in a fixed positon relative to the cavity.

A system and method distributes data and power in a robust manner for a large scale LED display. Master modules of the display are capable of receiving a data stream on any one of four data ports. The master modules extract the data for its module and an associated group of slave modules from a data stream received on one port and send the received data stream to three other master modules via the other three data ports. Unregulated D.C. power is distributed from one or more power hubs to the master modules which in turn distribute regulated D.C. power to their associated slave modules.

Data and power distribution system and method for a large scale display

A system distributes data in a robust manner to a large scale LED display formed of a number of display panels. The system includes a plurality of data hubs wherein each display panel is connected to at least two data hubs to receive redundant pixel data for each pixel of the panel. Each data hub is further connected to at least two panels of the display to provide pixel data for each pixel of the panels to which the data hub is connected.

Systems and methods for processing plant material samples and a transfer station designed for use in such systems and methods. In one embodiment, the system includes a controller, a plant-material sampling device, and a transfer station. The plant-material sampling device is configured to communicate with the controller and to read an identifier of a plant. The sampling device also has a removable magazine, and is designed to take at least one plant sample from multiple plants, place such samples in the magazine, and track the identity of the plant from which each sample is taken. The transfer station is configured to hold, at multiple positions, multiple magazines and multiple trays such that the positions of the magazines are mirrored by the positions of the trays, read an identifier of each magazine, read an identifier of each tray, map storage locations for each one of the magazines to storage locations of one of the trays, and sequentially unload plant samples from the magazines to the trays.

Transfer station for plant material sampling and tracking system

A device for collecting plant samples includes a punch and die mechanism for taking leaf plugs from plants. The punch itself includes a punch rod coaxially mounted inside a punch tube. In use, the punch tube has a distal end with two, diametrically opposed projections that interact with the formed aperture to cut a plug from a plant leaf. The punch rod then follows to remove a cut leaf plug from the formed aperture. Also included is a hydraulic subsystem for periodically delivering liquid on the punch and die mechanism to prevent plant debris from clogging the device.
