Disclosed is an apparatus, system, and method to unlock a body area network (BAN) of a patient and to transmit medical data about the patient. The BAN, under the control of a body area controller (BAC), may be unlocked based upon a pre-defined patient action performed by the patient and the BAN may then be connected to a wireless device. The BAN medical data of the patient may then be transmitted by the wireless device.

The disclosure is directed to determining a change in position of a location marker. In an aspect, it is determined whether the location marker is in a motion state or a static state using sensors integrated into the location marker, in response to the determining, one or more reachable nodes are discovered, and distance measurements are calculated from the location marker to each of the one or more reachable nodes.

Method and apparatus for determining a change in position of a location marker

Disclosed is an intrusion detector that may be used to determine if a person is authorized or unauthorized based upon the person carrying a token in an area being monitored for security. The intrusion detector may include: an interface and processor. The interface may receive video stream data from a camera and token data. The processor may execute operations including: receiving the video stream data and the token data and determining whether a person in the video stream data is carrying a token based upon whether the token data is associated with the person. If the person is determined to not be carrying a token, the person may be displayed as unauthorized.
