A system includes a support frame of a foldable playard, and bassinet fabrics attached to the support frame of the playard. The support frame includes a central hub and a plurality of rods, each of the rods having a first end pivotably attached to the central hub and a second, free end opposite the first end. The support frame is configured to enable the bassinet fabrics to fold with the foldable playard.

Collapsible playard

An improved bath seat for a young child or infant is provided. The bath seat has a plurality of rigid, extendable and retractable, stabilizing arms that include pivotable, spring-loaded suction cups at or near their ends that are engageable by means of suction with a wall of the bathtub to prevent the bath seat from tipping.

A playard includes a collapsible frame having scissoring members vertically extending and forming sides, the frame lacking horizontal top members, a removable fabric enclosure, the removable fabric enclosure including a removable top portion, and a removable bottom portion, the removable top portion secured to an upper portion of the collapsible frame with an attachment device configured to removably engage corresponding receptacles in the upper collapsible frame.

An apparatus includes a hard plastic booster seat, a soft foam insert positioned inside the hard plastic booster seat, and a semi-circular tray removeably affixed to an upper channel of a top portion of the hard plastic booster seat, the tray comprising one or more sections configured to be locked separately or in combination into the upper channel with a dual function latch mechanism.

A dot-matrix pinter is adapted to include an optical scanner for opto-electrically sensing the optical intensity levels of an image-bearing medium in order to provide a digitized representation of the image. The sensor can be mounted on a housing in the printer for continuous linear movement across the image while the sensor is scanning. Sampling means responsive to the printer strobe command signal is provided for sampling the output of the sensor at predetermined intervals. This output is loaded line by line into a memory buffer. Means for processing the sampled output of the sensor into a form compatible with a dot-matrix printer is also provided. A method of generating a digitized representation of an image using a dot-matrix printer adapted to include an optical scanner for optoelectrically scanning the optical intensity levels of an image-bearing medium is also provided. The representation can have either bilevel or gray-scale quality. In the case of gray-scale quality, the representation of the original image has more than one pixel space for containing dots corresponding to each sampled pixel in the original image whereby gray-scale resolution is provided by the distribution of dots in the reproduced image.
