A product display assembly () includes a product display device () and a security device (). The display device () includes a boom () and a peg hook (). The security device () includes a base (), an arm portion () pivotally mounted to the base () for rotation, and a foot portion () coupled to and extending away from the arm portion (). In a securing position, movement of merchandise () contacts the security device (). In a retrieval position, the security device () is rotated away from the peg hook () such that movement of merchandise does not contact the security device () and merchandise () is removable from the hook (). In a locking position, the security device () rotates away from the hook () by continuing contact with the merchandise (). At a point of the contact, rotation of the security device () is inhibited to prevent removal of the merchandise () from the display device ().

Theft deterrent device for product display systems

A merchandise display system is presented. The display system includes a support frame, a plurality of shelves disposed on the support frame, and a plurality of divider walls moveably secured to each shelf. Each shelf includes a base defining an arcuate upper surface having one or more channels formed therein. The divider walls are selectively positionable in a deployed position and/or a stowed position. In the deployed position the divider walls extend above the arcuate upper surface and in the stowed position the divider walls are disposed in the channel and are recessed below or level with the arcuate surface. In the deployed position, pairs of the divider walls cooperate with one another and the arcuate upper surface to define a lane therebetween. The lane is dimensioned to accommodate a front to back column of merchandise items.

Shelf and merchandise display system having stowable lane dividers

A merchandise display system is presented. The display system includes a support frame, a plurality of shelves disposed on the support frame, and a plurality of dividers coupled to each shelf. Each shelf includes a base having a plurality of arcuate surfaces extending continuously as tangent radii from a front end to a rear end of the base. In one embodiment, the arcuate surfaces and the dividers cooperate to define a plurality of lanes. Each lane is dimensioned to accommodate a front to back column of merchandise items. When a merchandise item is placed at the rear end of one of the lanes, the merchandise item traverses the lane by gravity to the forward end of the lane such that the merchandise item is presented to a prospective consumer in a substantially upright and forward facing position.

Shelf and merchandise display system

A display system can accommodate a number of products. The system includes one or more modules. Each module may be mounted on a support wall and includes back and shelf portions. Advantageously, a number of modules are arranged in a number of rows, one row above another. A number of dividers are removably secured to at least one of the walls and may be moved in stepwise or continuous fashion to separate groups of the products within each row. Various of the modules may include hook bars secured to the back wall portions for hanging certain of the products and/or space thieves removably secured to the shelf portions for forwardly offsetting stacked or hung products.

Display system

A glide () includes a base (), a front member, and a number of walls () extending front-to-back. Both the base and the front member are advantageously formed as a number of pieces secured side-by-side to provide expandability. The front member may be secured to the walls via dovetail interaction and different front members may be provided for different wall spacings.

Sign suspension system

A promotional pallet which can be varied in both length and width, and which will have places for signs and pennants in any of its configurations. Its length is changed by using two sections each formed by a pair of base members with interengaging fingers and in which the extent of interengagement can be varied. The fingers slidingly interengage in a 'cantilever' manner so as to provide structural strength regardless of length. The width of the pallet is changed by using two sets of sections of equal width hinged together with hinges which can accommodate change in length, while at the same time permitting flush overlapping of two sets of sections, so the weight being carried is distributed uniformly over a common surface. The front and one side of each set of sections can each carry a sign providing product or brand information; one sign will block the other when the sections are hinged together in overlapping relationship, since with this reduced width only one sign is necessary, and, also, to avoid having one sign being displayed upside down.

Foldable and expandable promotional pallet

An expandable display including a central member and two end pieces, the central member including fingers extending laterally from each side, the end pieces each having fingers extending laterally towards the central member, the fingers of the end pieces slidingly engaging the fingers of the central member, permitting the width of the display to be varied by relative sliding movement between the central member fingers and the end piece fingers. Each of the end pieces may include a hinged back for receiving and holding a display card. The central member may include a clamp at the rear for securing the display to another structure.

In-store display having variable width

A shelving bank formed of a plurality of shelving units, wherein the line of juncture between the shelving units may be substantially concealed. The shelving bank includes at least two shelving units, each shelving unit having a plurality of shelves, the shelving units being joined together with the shelves in adjacent shelving units being in smooth abutting relationship, so that boxes of merchandise can be placed over the areas of the abutting relationship. Light plenums under the shelves, each light plenum extending the length of its respective the shelf, so that light plenums of adjacent the shelving units are adjacent to one another and abut one another. Light panels mounted along the front of the light plenums, and the mounting means of adjacent plenums providing for the light panels to bridge the point of abutment of the light plenums, so that the line of juncture between adjacent shelving units is substantially concealed.

Lighted merchandise shelves

A carousel for dispensing canisters of film having a film-holding base secured to a vertical spine mounted centrally of the base, a plurality of vertical dividers extending radially from, and circumferentially of, the spine, vertically-extending wall sections secured to the outermost edges of the dividers, so that the spine, the dividers, and the wall sections together form vertical channels to receive and hold the canisters. The uppermost portions of the wall sections are open to receive the canisters, and the lowermost ends of the wall sections are spaced from the base sufficiently to permit removal of individual canisters, and the base and with the upper end of the spine are pivoted where they are to be attached to a display device so the entire unit can be rotated. If desired, the canisters can have keys on their bodies or their caps, and the channels can have corresponding key slots, so that the canisters will be held in the channels with their labels outermost.
