A vibration assembly is configured to be engageable with a concrete working tool through engagement of complementary or interengaging interface components. A variety of interface components can be used, and in some examples, the engagement between the interface components is placed under tension.

A spacer and its opening can be the same shape or different shapes, and spacers can be interconnected or disconnected from each other. Sensors include temperature sensors, motion sensors, strain sensors, moisture sensors, electrical resistance sensors, position sensors, antennas, and other components.

A support assembly for a core drill uses an improved reinforcement. The reinforcement can include an extension extending between a center of the tool and a perimeter of the tool the extension can be a non-planar structure having a channel along a portion of the structure. The reinforcement can include a slanted element that can be associated with the extension, that can be formed monolithic with the extension, or otherwise combined with an extension. Multiple slanted elements can be used to form an extension. A top plate can be included for strengthening the reinforcement.

Tool cores may have removable sections, which may be removable without damaging, cutting or severing attachment configurations for the removable sections. The removable sections may be handled simultaneously. Moving parts used to facilitate removal of the removable sections may be secured in a pre-loaded configuration.

A concrete cutting machine includes a motor, a pivot arm, and a concrete cutting chain assembly. The motor has an output drive, and the pivot arm has an input coupled to the output drive for receiving power from the motor. The arm is configured to pivot relative to the motor, and the pivot arm has a pivot arm output. The concrete cutting chain assembly is supported on the pivot arm and has a power input coupled to the pivot arm output. The chain assembly is configured to be pivotable relative to the pivot arm.

A support assembly for a core drill which utilizes an improved high strength spoked reinforcer. The reinforcer may be removably mounted a core drill tube by fasteners. A drive connection is removably mounted and centrally located on an outer disc of a pair of discs. The drive connection is adapted to connect with a drive shaft to cause rotation of the tube. The assembly can also include a split in the disc when the high strength spoked reinforcer is not welded thereto, thereby providing a means of water control. The high strength spoked reinforcer can be a separate piece that is bolted to the disc or can be integrally formed as one piece therewith.

Tools are described having removable working elements, include saws having removable cutting elements. Interface geometries on one or more of a core structure and removable elements may be simple or complex geometries. Securement elements releasably hold the removable elements in place.

A concrete float, float assembly, float adapter and interface, and float vibration apparatus and methods include a concrete float that have surfaces, and structures for controlling flow of wet concrete. An interface such as may be included in a quick attach/release configuration may be integrated on a float, and/or may be added onto a float for quick attach/release of a pivot assembly. Adapters may ease attachment or release of an assembly, and may be an interengaging element, such as a sliding dovetail as an interengaging element, or an adapter may be used to place an assembly in tension to secure the assembly. A vibration assembly may be included and configured to have a low center of mass, can have a user display, an accelerometer, and/or other components. A pivot assembly may be included for easier use by an operator, and may include a user display, quick release mechanisms.

A laminar is formed from a plurality of sections, where in one example, one or more of the sections are selected to have a configuration according to a known parameter or characteristic of the section, for example material characteristics. One or more sections are cut from a raw material or stock material according to the known parameter or characteristic, which for example can be a known characteristic of the stock material such as roll direction.
