A sound proofing and vibration dampening connecting element (B) for floating suspension of a floor-deck on a structural, load-bearing carriage floor of railway vehicles for passenger transport features a base section (28) that is U-shaped in cross-section and, projecting partly over this, a deck-supporting section (38) that is U-shaped in cross-section with base strips (30, 40) having flanges (32, 42) projecting perpendicularly from them. Between the pairs of facing flanges (32, 42) and adhesively bonded to them are elastic profiled strips (46) that, along with base strips (30, 40) forming the contact surfaces for the carriage floor (26) and floor-deck (27), delimit a hollow space (47).

The attachment device comprises a C-shaped profile fitting and a clamping strap, inserted therein, with an inset screw. The mutually facing strips of the fitting are thickened on the inside towards the slot. The strap grips behind this thickening. Thus the limbs of the fitting are prevented from spreading apart. In order to secure the strap against displacement along the profile, it has transverse webs which penetrate with an edge into the thickenings when a nut is tightened on the screw and thus produce a positive connection between the strap and the profile even in the longitudinal direction of the profile. The attachment is suitable, above all, for the underfloor attachment of appliances to rail vehicles.

Attachment device

A vehicle superstructure, in particular for railway carriages to transport passengers, features a structural frame formed by side and end walls and roof. This forms an outer structural plane for the carriage superstructure which is covered by an outer skin and roof cover; insulating material is fitted between the structural plane and the outer skin and roof cover. The outer skin panels are on the one hand loosely mounted via spacers hooked into grooves in sections permanently attached to the carriage frame or outer structural plane, on the other hand releasably attached via other spacers to the structural plane or held by holders secured to sections of the carriage frame with interleaving insulation.

The externally insulated window mounting is employed in the sidewall frame of a railway passenger carriage. This carriage frame comprises sidewall sections and post sections (10), an exchangeable outer skin and in between an insulating material. The window mounting is releasably secured to the sidewall sections and post sections. The inner frame, made up of at least four extrusion pieces spaced from the region of the window corners, features a lip which serves as a sealing surface for the outer skin and holds in place an outer, peripheral frame with undercut groove. A lip on the outer frame pointing away from the window opening, clamps the outer skin securely and holds in place a mounting strip of weather resistant, elastic material to retain the window glazing in place.

Externally insulated window mounting

The goods truck features a superstructure which is made up of interconnected longitudinal walls, end walls and floor and is designed to form a self-supporting body which twists relatively easily. The roof features at least one longitudinal part which is attached to one longitudinal wall and, with respect to the end walls and the other longitudinal wall, exhibits freedom of movement in the longitudinal direction which accommodates the twisting action. A charging port/charging ports can be provided in the roof. By employing the concept according to the invention the danger of derailment can be reduced, and fatigue crack formation avoided in the region of the roof.

A device for unloading a container used for bulk materials is such that a container floor is made up at least in part of flaps which can be tilted or swung out away from the interior. To this end at least two flaps are connected via a ridging beam or axle which runs through the interior of the container above a rotatable shaft. The rotational movement of the shaft is transmitted to the flaps to actuate same. The shaft features on opposite sides and transverse to its longitudinal axis first and second flange pairs, the former accommodating an elbow lever with the help of a push-fit bolt, and the latter a lever with the help of a bolt. The elbow lever and the lever are hinged to the flaps respectively. Further, connected to the flaps is a lock which joins up via bolts with the elbow lever or the lever, and in the closed position engages on a latching device.

Device for unloading a container for bulk materials

A superstructure for railway vehicles is disclosed having hoods which comprises at least two rails for two or more hoods positioned close to each side of a platform in a plane below the said platform, where at least one of the rails is mounted parallel and at a distance from one long side of the platform such that it can be moved back and forth on bearings.
