The systems and methods perform Bayesian anatomically-driven, artificial-intelligence based intracardiac echocardiography object detection and prediction. The system proposes hypotheses for what features and objects are in view based on prior knowledge informed by previously acquired or generated models. During a cardiac interventional procedure, the system uses a per-frame object identification artificial intelligence (AI); the gathered data is analyzed within a Bayesian framework to create updated posterior prediction(s) of what feature(s) may be predicted (with a computed confidence level) to be in view and their respective location(s). Inferences that pass an accept/reject threshold for object identification and meet minimum threshold settings for temporal stability and spatial location are used to display labels and boundaries. The system predicts what features and objects are in-frame, where out-of-frame objects/features may be located, and how to navigate to them.

Systems and methods of 3D ultrasound imaging with one or more 'thick-slice' 3D ultrasound imaging zones and one or more 2D ultrasound zones using a multi-zone, multi-frequency image reconstruction scheme with subzone blending. The first zone can be a thick-slice imaging zone and the second and third zones are 2D imaging zones. The first zone and the second zone can be thick-slice imaging zones and the third zone can be a 2D imaging zone. The first zone can be a 2D imaging zone, the second zone can be a thick-slice imaging zone and the third zone can be a 2D imaging zone. A method includes imaging a first zone using plane wave imaging, a second zone using tissue harmonic imaging, and a third zone using fundamental and subharmonic deep imaging. The depth of each zone can vary based on the ultrasonic array and the F# used for imaging the zone.

Method and apparatus for composition of ultrasound images with integration of 'thick-slice' 3-dimensional ultrasound imaging zone(s) and 2-dimensional ultrasound zone(s) utilizing a multi-zone, multi-frequency ultrasound image reconstruction scheme with sub-zone blending

Systems and methods of ultrasound imaging of an object that includes multiple depth zones. Each of the zones can be imaged using a different frequency, or the same frequency as another zone. A method includes imaging a first zone using plane wave imaging, imaging a second zone using tissue harmonic imaging, and imaging a third zone using fundamental and subharmonic deep imaging. The depth of each zone can vary based on the ultrasonic array, and correspondingly, the F # used for imaging the zone. In an example, zones can be imaged at different F #'s, for example, at F #1 for the first zone, at F #2, F #3, or F #6 for one or more zones that extend deeper into the object than the first zone. The method can also include forming an image based on the received signals from the multiple zones, and blending the transitions between the zones.

Method and apparatus for multi-zone, multi-frequency ultrasound image reconstruction with sub-zone blending

Described herein is a method and system for capturing, labeling, measuring and/or comparing images from current and/or previous ultrasound studies using a touch-screen user interface and a display where actions on the touch-screen input data on a captured ultrasound image on the display. Labels and measurements input on the touch-screen user interface are placed in the appropriate location on the captured ultrasound image and on an anatomically matching graphical representation on the touch-screen user interface either or both of which may be used to generate documentation and reports of an ultrasound study.
