A system enables users to customize a 'total care plan', which consists of a set of in-home care tasks plus additional caregiving related attributes such as time for carrying out a task, supplies needed, and estimated cost for each task. In this system, total care plans are used to plan, schedule and manage a person's daily life for elderly or people with long-term health issues. The included methods provide users ways to optimize the cost of products and services needed to carry out their care plan that meet their quality and financial requirements, and caregiving or health constraints. Methods are provided to further reduce the total cost of the products or services by leveraging the resources they already have, and applying their insurances or social benefits. Methods that offer users the option of applying various ways to get volume discounts are also provided which further optimize costs.

A method and system for creating secure virtual project rooms is provided. The system creates a security focused development infrastructure to augment existing planning tools, existing development environment, and provide analytics for adjusting the plans to carry out a secure distributed project development.

Method and system to create secure virtual project room

A method and apparatus for managing changes to computerized medical protocols is provided. Each change to a medical protocol results in a new binary file being generated. Each binary file associated with the protocol then has a version number, which may be divided into two parts: a major version number and a minor version number. The default is that major changes to the medical protocol result in an incremented major number while minor changes to the medical protocol result in an incremented minor number. At assignment time, the version of the medical protocol to be assigned is assumed to be the one with the highest major number. At execution time, the version of the medical protocol to be executed is assumed to be the one with the highest minor number. This allows for the constant modification of treatment protocols without interfering with the protocols of patients already receiving treatment.
