A connection device for an appliance with an appliance housing includes a main body having an appliance-side end, a connection-side end facing away from the appliance-side end, and a conduit extending from the appliance-side end to the connection-side end, a securing element securing the main body to a wall section of the appliance housing, and a conductor leading through the main body from the connection-side end to the appliance-side end. The main body has a first abutment surface facing the appliance-side end. The securing element has a second abutment surface facing the first abutment surface. The first abutment surface and the second abutment surface enclose therebetween a receiving region for clamping reception of the wall section of the appliance housing.

A chiclet for a chiclet connector includes a conductor having a first end and a second end. A housing of the chiclet encloses and defines a housing interior. The conductor extends through the housing interior with the first and second ends of the conductor forming contacts projecting from the housing. The housing forms an electromagnetic shield electrically insulated from the conductor. A support of the chiclet corresponds in shape to the housing interior and is connected to the conductor for fixing the conductor within the housing.

A contact pin comprises a contact section, a mounting section angled with respect to the contact section, and a transition region connecting the contact section and the mounting section. The contact section extends substantially parallel to a contacting direction in which the contact pin is pressed into a contact pin receptacle. The transition region has a recess forming a substantially planar engagement surface.
