The present invention relates to a fluoropolymer-based coating of the surface of a household article comprising at least two decorations (a) and (b) arranged between or in its layers, wherein: (a) is a decoration comprising at least one thermochromic pigment composition in the form of particles consisting of a (Bi1-xAx) (V1-yMy)O4 type pigment, where: —x is 0 or x is from 0.001 to 0.999; —y is equal to 0 or y is from 0.001 to 0.999; —A and M are selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, phosphorus, an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, a transition metal, a poor metal, a metalloid or a lanthanide; —A and M are different from each other; and (b) is a decoration comprising a temperature reference pigment composition.

The invention relates to a particle with a core-shell structure, the core of which comprises at least one thermochromic semiconductor and the shell comprises at least two layers&#x2014;an inner layer in contact with the core and comprising a mineral material or an organo-mineral hybrid material; and&#x2014;an outer layer comprising a mineral material or an organo-mineral hybrid material, different from that of the inner layer. The invention also relates to a method for producing this particle, and the use thereof as a temperature indicator, in particular in a culinary article, such as a pan.

Provided is an aqueous amine-free coating composition including at least one aromatic polymer, wherein the aromatic polymer is in the form of powder having a dless than or equal to 20 &#x3bc;m and in that the aqueous coating composition further includes polar aprotic solvent at a content greater than 0% by weight and less than or equal to 25% by weight. Also provided is an aqueous amine-free non-stick coating composition including such an aqueous composition for a coating, and the respective methods for producing same. Further provided is a method for producing an item on one of the faces of a metal substrate, from at least one layer of the coating composition or one layer of the non-stick coating composition.
