The present invention is in the field of rinse-off conditioner compositions; in particular, relates to rinse-off conditioner compositions with improved conditioning benefits. Silicones are a commonly used conditioning agent and thus improved deposition of silicones is always desired. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide improved silicone deposition and also improved sensory of hair. It has been found that the above objects can be achieved by a conditioner composition comprising a specific combination of silicones.

Hair treatment composition

The present invention is in the field of rinse-off conditioner compositions; in particular, relates to rinse-off conditioner compositions for hair frizz reduction. Deposition of conditioning materials onto the hair surface results in hair having a greasy feel and look which is undesired. Therefore, there still exists the opportunity to increase the conditioning benefits delivered through hair care compositions, preferably without hair having to look and feel greasy. It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a conditioning product with superior frizz control even after multiple washes and which does not make the hair look and feel greasy. It has been found that a conditioner composition providing superior frizz control can be obtained using a specific combination of silicones and a tricarboxylic acid.

The invention provides a packaged composition for the oxidative coloration of hair which is formulated in two parts, the composition comprising: (i) an aqueous hair colorant part comprising one or more oxidative dye precursors, and less than 1% oleic acid by weight based on total weight of part (i); (ii) an aqueous colour developer part comprising one or more oxidising agents, at least 5% stearic acid by weight based on total weight of part (ii); and less than 1% oleic acid by weight based on total weight of part (ii); in which parts (i) and (ii) are adapted to be mixed together before application to the hair. The compositions provide an improved level of hair damage protection during the colouring process without compromising on colour delivery.
