A warning system that includes a first sensor configured to measure a first signal representative of the state of a door, at least one trim element having at least one second sensor configured to measure a second signal representative of a force applied to the trim element. The system also includes a warning computer and a warning device to communicate warning data to a user. The computer includes: an acquisition module configured to acquire the first signal and the second signal, a determination module configured to determine the warning data based on the first and second signals. The determination module is configured to determine the warning data if the first signal is representative of an open state of the door and if the second signal is representative of an applied force greater than a threshold force.

Sensor-based trim element warning system, associated vehicle and method

A method for manufacturing a heating mat for a motor vehicle. The method includes the following steps: providing a heating ply having a deformable structure and two heating elements inserted into the structure, said two heating elements being separated by a deformation area of the structure; stacking the heating ply between an upper layer and a lower layer, wherein at least one of the heating ply and the upper and lower layers includes a thermoformable material; assembling the stack by at least one fastening rod; and thermoforming the stack thus assembled, so as to secure the heating ply and the upper and lower layers into a single piece; and stretching the deformation area in the stacking direction.

An automotive vehicle soundproofing part having a body that includes a plurality of interlaced and/or bonded fibers. The body includes, in its thickness: a porous upper region of granular elements dispersed between the fibers; and a porous lower region with no dispersed granular elements, or formed of a concentration of dispersed granular elements lower than the concentration in dispersed granular elements of the porous upper region. The porous upper region has an air passage resistance at least 100 N&#xb7;m&#xb7;s greater than the air passage resistance of the porous lower region.

Automotive vehicle sound proofing part and related process

A vehicle interior equipment part, intended to be attached on a floor of the vehicle, that provides a heel rest for an occupant. The part includes a floor element having a first portion intended to extend in a substantially horizontal plane and a second portion intended to extend in a tilted plane relative to the first portion. The part further includes an inflatable heel rest attached on the second portion, the heel rest being reversibly deployable between a retracted idle position in which the heel rest is substantially flush with the second portion, and a deployed position in which the heel rest protrudes relative to the second portion.
