Optimizing a spectacle lens for a wearer of implanted intraocular lenses. The method includes providing individual refraction data on the at least one eye of the spectacle wearer; defining an individual eye model in which at least a shape and/or power of a cornea, in particular a corneal front surface, of a model eye, a cornea-lens distance, parameters of the lens of the model eye, and a lens-retina distance are defined as parameters of the individual eye model. Here, defining the parameters of the individual eye model takes place on the basis of data on visual acuity correction of the at least one eye having the intraocular lens and further on the basis of individual measurement values for the eye of the spectacle wearer and/or standard values and/or on the basis of the provided individual refraction data such that the model eye has the provided individual refraction data.

Method and apparatus optimizing spectacle lenses for wearers of implanted intraocular lenses

A computer-implemented method for calculating or assessing a spectacles lens for an eye of a spectacles wearer. A device for determining the distance of an eye of a user from the image capturing device is disclosed. The device includes a lighting device that is arranged at a specified position relative to the image capturing device and is designed to generate at least one specular light reflection, which has a linear portion, on the cornea of the eye of the user. The device also includes an image capturing device designed to capture at least one image of the specular light reflection in the region of the cornea of the at least one eye of the user. A distance determining device is designed to ascertain data relating to the distance between two specified points of the light reflection and the curvature of the at least one linear portion of the light reflection in the captured image and the distance of the eye from the image capturing device.

Brightness-dependent adjustment of a spectacle lens

A computer-implemented method for calculating or optimizing a spectacle lens for at least one eye of a spectacle wearer. Refraction data of the at least one eye of the spectacle wearer is collected. An individual eye model is defined, wherein the eye model defines at least the topography of a corneal front surface of the at least one eye, position and power of a lens of the eye, and a retina position of the eye such that the eye exhibits the collected refraction data. A first surface and a second surface for the spectacle lens to be calculated or optimized is specified. The path of a main ray through at least one visual point of at least one spectacle lens surface to be calculated or optimized is determined. A spherical wavefront incident on the first surface of the spectacle lens along the main ray is specified. A wavefront in the at least one eye, which results from the spherical wavefront in a surrounding of the main ray due to the power of at least the first and second surfaces of the spectacle lens, the corneal front surface, and the lens of the at least one eye is determined. The at least one spectacle lens surface to be calculated or optimized is iteratively varied until an aberration of the resulting wavefront corresponds to a specified target aberration.

Eyeglass optimization using an individual eye model

Adjustment of an eyeglass lens or a pair of eyeglasses by means of an individual brightness-dependent centering of an eyeglass lens. The invention relates to a method, a computer program product and a system for designing or producing a spectacle lens for a spectacle wearer. Said method consists of the following steps: individual user data or application data of the spectacle wearer is obtained; the design concept for the spectacle lens having a plurality of evaluation points is determined; a main beam path through the plurality of evaluation points is determined; a local wavefront is specified for each of the main beams in the surroundings of the respective main beam; optical properties of the spectacle lens are determined on the evaluation points by determining an influence of the spectacle lens on the local wavefronts in the surroundings of the respective evaluation point; and the design concept is evaluated in accordance with the determined optical properties and the individual user data.
