A radio frequency apparatus is described herein for facilitating imaging of a patient positioned within a magnetic resonance imaging system comprising a Bmagnet. The radio frequency apparatus may be configured to detect magnetic resonance signals emitted from anatomy of a patient when positioned within a low-field magnetic resonance imaging system, the radio frequency apparatus comprising a flexible substrate capable of being positioned about the anatomy of the patient and a plurality of radio frequency coils coupled to the flexible substrate, each of the plurality of radio frequency coils forming a plurality of turns.

Flexible radio frequency coil apparatus and methods for magnetic resonance imaging

According to some aspects, a magnetic resonance imaging system capable of imaging a patient is provided. The magnetic resonance imaging system comprising at least one B0 magnet to produce a magnetic field to contribute to a B0 magnetic field for the magnetic resonance imaging system and a member configured to engage with a releasable securing mechanism of a radio frequency coil apparatus, the member attached to the magnetic resonance imaging system at a location so that, when the member is engaged with the releasable securing mechanism of the radio frequency coil apparatus, the radio frequency coil apparatus is secured to the magnetic resonance imaging system substantially within an imaging region of the magnetic resonance imaging system.

Methods and apparatus for patient positioning in magnetic resonance imaging

An assembly including an adapter assembly and an extension assembly for connecting an end effector to an electrosurgical instrument is provided. The adapter assembly includes first and second pusher assemblies configured for converting rotational motion into linear motion and a drive member for transferring rotational motion. The extension assembly includes at least one flexible band assembly for transferring the linear motion from the adapter assembly and a trocar assembly configured for converting rotational motion into linear motion. Also provided is a connection assembly for connecting a first tubular member to a second tubular member.

Adapter, extension, and connector assemblies for surgical devices

Provided herein are systems, devices, and methods to facilitate imaging an infant using a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) device. A system for facilitating imaging an infant using an MRI device is provided herein, the system comprising a radio frequency (RF) coil assembly configured to be coupled to the MRI device and comprising a first RF coil configured to transmit RF signals during MRI and/or be responsive to MR signals generated during MRI and a helmet for supporting at least a portion of the infant's head, and an infant support to support at least a portion of the infant's body and configured to be coupled to the RF coil assembly. Further provided is an apparatus for coupling an infant support to an MRI device.

Systems, devices, and methods for magnetic resonance imaging of infants

According to some aspects, a magnetic resonance imaging system capable of imaging a patient is provided. The magnetic resonance imaging system comprising at least one BO magnet to produce a magnetic field to contribute to a BO magnetic field for the magnetic resonance imaging system and a member configured to engage with a releasable securing mechanism of a radio frequency coil apparatus, the member attached to the magnetic resonance imaging system at a location so that, when the member is engaged with the releasable securing mechanism of the radio frequency coil apparatus, the radio frequency coil apparatus is secured to the magnetic resonance imaging system substantially within an imaging region of the magnetic resonance imaging system.

According to some aspects, a magnetic resonance imaging system capable of imaging a patient is provided. A fastening system includes first and second fastening members and a penetrating member. The first fastening member includes a backspan and a set of lobes that extend from the backspan. The second fastening member includes a backspan and a set of lobes that extend from the backspan. The penetrating member includes a first body which is substantially planar, a set of teeth, and a first trailing wall that extends from the first body orthogonal to a plane that is defined by the first body. The set of teeth extend from a leading edge of the first body which is opposite a trailing edge of the first body and are configured to pierce and spread tissue over the set of lobes of the first fastening member. The first trailing wall is configured to support the backspan of the first fastening member.

Tissue fastening system and method

A chip assembly for use in a surgical stapler is provided. The chip assembly includes a housing assembly and a plug assembly. The housing assembly includes a base member, seal member, and a circuit board assembly. The base member defines a cavity for receipt of the circuit board assembly and the seal member is configured to be received about an open end of the base member. The plug assembly is configured to selectively engage the open end of the base member. The plug assembly includes a plug member and first and second contact members extending from the plug member. The first and second contact members are configured to be received within the cavity defined by the base member and engage the circuit board assembly when the plug assembly engages the housing assembly.

Chip assembly for reusable surgical instruments

An end effector includes first and second jaws, first and second buttresses, and an ultrasonic blade. The first jaw includes a fastener cartridge having a first tissue contacting surface and a plurality of fasteners arranged in rows parallel to a longitudinal axis of the first jaw. The first buttress is attached to the first tissue contacting surface and the second buttress is attached to a second tissue contracting surface of the second jaw. The first and second jaws are movable relative to one another and are configured to grasp tissue therebetween. The ultrasonic is activatable to weld the first buttress to the second buttress and to subsequently cut the welded first and second buttresses and tissue grasped between the first and second jaws.
