The invention concerns a positioning spacer for positioning electrical energy storage elements, such as supercapacitors or ultracapacitors connected in series, in an electrical energy storage module, wherein the spacer comprises a first support part and a second part forming a rim relative to the first part, the positioning spacer comprising, at the free end of the second part thereof, at least one housing recess, the spacer being made from an electrically insulating material.

Module including a casing () in which a plurality of electric energy storage assemblies () are arranged so that their longitudinal axis are parallel to one another and perpendicular to an upper wall and a lower wall of the casing. Each electric storage assembly has a first face in thermal contact with and electrically insulated from the lower wall of the casing, and a second face opposite the first face. The second face is capped with a cover electrically connected to the energy storage assembly (). The upper wall of the casing includes a holder for holding the storage assemblies against the lower wall of the casing which also allows swelling of the covers capping the second faces.

The invention relates to a module including a housing () in which are provided at least two electric energy storage assemblies () connected by connection means () and at least one management electronic board () for managing the charging and discharging of the energy storage means (), wherein the different walls of the housing () are in thermal contact while being electrically insulated, respectively, for at least one wall relative to the electric energy storage assemblies () and for at least another wall with the management electronic board (), so as to promote the cooling of said module.
