A CD carrier is disclosed and comprises a single paperboard sheet having a plurality of hinge lines dividing the sheet into a plurality of panels, with each of the panels having first and second faces corresponding to first and second faces of the sheet. The CD carrier further comprises a first panel and a second panel which fold to form a pocket sized to receive a CD. Third, fourth and fifth panels are provided. A tear away strip is defined in part by cooperating frangible connections on each of the third and fourth panels. The CD carrier is formed by folding the first panel along a first hinge line to create the pocket, folding the fifth panel along a fourth hinge line thereby positioning the second face of the first panel side by side with the second face of the fifth panel, folding the first and second panels together along a second hinge line until the second face of the first panel is in confronting relationship with the second face of the fifth panel, and then folding the fourth panel along a the third hinge line so that an overlapping edge portion of the fourth panel overlaps the second panel but is unsecured to the second panel. Cooperating portions of the fourth panel and the second panel form a binding face adapted to permit adhesive securement of the CD carrier to the book.

Book insert compact disc carrier device

A folded paper board compact disc carrier for carrying a plurality of compact discs. A compact disc carrier formed from a single piece of stock comprises a paper board blank having a central portion divided by a fold line into first and second planar portions. Each portion includes a side edge having a tab and a pair of opposing flaps foldable along a fold line lying perpendicular to the central portion fold line. Each flap is foldable to an inward position wherein the flaps define with their corresponding planar half an enclosure adapted to receive a compact disc. Upon folding the first and second planar portions along the central portion told line the enclosures are placed in spaced apart parallel relationship with the side edge tabs of each planar half disposed adjacent each other. The compact disc carrier so formed requires no glue or other adhesives and will hold a plurality of compact discs.

Folded paper board CD carrier

A folded paper board CD carrier for carrying a plurality of CD's. A CD carrier formed from a single piece of stock comprises a paper board blank having a central portion divided by a fold line into first and second planar portions. Each portion includes a side edge having a tab and a pair of opposing flaps foldable along a fold line lying perpendicular to the central portion fold line. Each flap is foldable to an inward position wherein the flaps define with their corresponding planar half an enclosure adapted to receive a CD. Upon folding the first and second planar portions along the central portion fold line the enclosures are placed in spaced apart parallel relationship with the side edge tabs of each planar half disposed adjacent each other. The CD carrier so formed requires no glue or other adhesives and will hold a plurality of CD's.

A book insert CD carrier device is provided that allows for the unitary packaging and thus marketing of books and compact disks or other similar media. The carrier device is constructed of a single sheet of paper board that is easily assembled into a carrier that holds compact disks and that is easily secured to the inner or outer surface of the front or back cover of a book. Due to the configuration of the paper board sheet, which includes a plurality of panels that are divided by a plurality of hinge lines, the assembly process involves folding specified panels and securing the panels as necessary to create a pocket within which the compact disks are stored. The carrier further includes a cover that features a tear strip seal for enclosing the CDs within the pocket. A set of panels cooperate to form a sturdy base by which the carrier is secured to the cover of the book. The carrier is rotatable about a pivot hinge that thereby allows access to the contents of the carrier while also permitting the book cover to close or nearly fully close.

Box for a book

In order to provide a sturdy yet inexpensive rotary corrugated box, the box includes a corrugated base having an upstanding corrugated side wall, each having an inner surface and an outer surface to define a box-like enclosure. A rigid insert is disposed within the box-like enclosure substantially co-extensive with the inner surface of the corrugated base. The rigid insert is substantially planar and has a flat surface in engagement with substantially the entire inner surface of the corrugated base. A rotary base assembly is provided which includes a first portion in engagement with the outer surface of the corrugated base and a second portion to be disposed on a supporting surface. The first and second portions cooperate so as to facilitate relative rotational movement therebetween. With this construction, the first portion of the rotary base assembly is rigidly secured to the rigid insert through the corrugated base to form a sandwich construction consisting of the rigid insert and the first portion of the rotary base assembly with the corrugated base therebetween.

Rotary materials organizer

A package for a compact disc having a rear panel and a front panel associated with the rear panel. The front and rear panels are substantially parallel to each other and have a space disposed between them in which an insert panel is disposed. The front panel has an aperture formed therein which is adapted to receive the compact disc. The insert panel has a central aperture formed therein which is adapted to accommodate the compact disc therein. The aperture formed in the front panel of the compact disc enclosure may be sized to expose at least a portion of the central hole of the compact disc when the compact disc is disposed in the central aperture of the insert panel. The aperture formed in the front panel may also include a finger slot which exposes a portion of a peripheral edge of the compact disc so that the compact disc can be grasped exclusively by its edges, thus eliminating the need to grasp either face of the disc.

Compact disc package

A nested book assembly for a child is composed of a first book having a front cover, a back cover, and a plurality of pages attached between the two covers and a second book having a front cover, a back cover, and a plurality of pages attached between the two covers. The second book has a shape which substantially corresponds to the shape of a cavity formed in the front cover of the first book so that the second book may be frictionally retained within the cavity. The nested book assembly may include one or more puzzle pieces which are frictionally retained within one or more cavities formed in one or more of the books, the overall shape of each of the puzzle pieces substantially corresponding to the shape of a respective one of the cavities in which the puzzle pieces may be frictionally retained. The shape of the books and the puzzle pieces may represent a different portion of a person's face so that when the books and the puzzle pieces are frictionally retained within their respective cavities, the book assembly appears to resemble a person's face.
