A method for operating a pump of a delivery unit, in particular of a fluid supply system, having a pump chamber and an actively controllable inlet valve and an actively controllable outlet valve for the pump chamber, wherein, for the delivery of a fluid, a pressure (p), which is to be provided by the pump, of the fluid for delivery is controlled in closed-loop fashion on the basis of a manipulated variable (V), and wherein, within one full cycle (Z) of the pump (), at least one of inlet valve () and outlet valve () is activated only if fluid is to be delivered, and is not activated if no fluid is to be delivered, and to a fluid supply system.

Method for operating a pump, and fluid supply system having a pump of said type

The invention relates to a method for emptying a reducing agent delivery system belonging to an SCR catalytic converter, which comprises a delivery line and a return line, each line connecting a reducing agent tank to a delivery module, and which comprises a pressure line that connects the delivery module to a metering valve. The method comprises the following steps: closing () the metering valve, and switching the delivery module from a delivering function to a returning function, by switching () a switching valve from a first position to a second position. This enables a reducing agent solution to be returned () from the return line, the delivery line and the delivery module by means of the delivery module and the delivery line into the reducing agent tank. Subsequently, the metering valve is opened () and a reducing agent solution is returned () from the metering valve and the pressure line, and also from the return line, via the delivery line into the reducing agent tank. Additionally, the metering valve is closed again () in order to empty () the return line and the delivery module.

A method for adjusting a pressure sensor of an SCR system between a delivery pump and a dosing valve, with which the delivery pump is switched off during a switch-off phase of the SCR system and a pressure (p) measured by the pressure sensor is detected at least during a section of the switch-off phase in which the delivery pump is switched off, and the adjustment of the pressure sensor is carried out by using the measured pressure (p) as the reference pressure for the pressure sensor.
