The present disclosure relates to an absorbent fibrous web, in which the fibres are constituted by cellulosic fibres including cellulosic staple fibres and cellulose pulp fibres and the absorbent fibrous web is a foam-formed hydro-entangled fibrous web. The present disclosure further relates to a method of manufacturing such an absorbent fibrous web.

Absorbent fibrous web

An absorbent hygienic article for absorbing body fluids, the article including a liquid absorbent top layer and a backing layer, the top layer and the backing layer being made from roll materials and being joined together. The top layer is constituted by a cellulosic fibrous web, the fibres in the cellulosic fibrous web being constituted by a mixture of cellulose fibres, the mixture including regenerated cellulose fibres or natural cellulose staple fibres and cellulose pulp fibres, the cellulosic fibrous web being a foam-formed, hydroentangled cellulosic fibrous web.

Absorbent hygienic article for absorbing body fluids

Absorbent product includes a nonwoven material arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product. The nonwoven material includes non-absorbent and/or absorbent fibres. The fibres, at least on a surface arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product, have a coarseness of from 0.1 to 10 dtex, or from 0.5 to 7 dtex. The fibres and/or the nonwoven material is coated with a lubricating coating composition suitable for use in absorbent and/or hygiene products at least on a surface arranged to be in contact with skin of a user during use of the absorbent product. By the product including the nonwoven, wet friction can be reduced between the nonwoven and the skin of the user.

Absorbent product comprising a nonwoven material

An absorbent hygienic article for absorbing body fluids, the article including a liquid permeable topsheet, a backing layer and an absorbent core arranged between the topsheet and the backing layer, the topsheet and the backing layer being made from roll materials. The topsheet or an absorbent layer in the absorbent core is constituted by a cellulosic fibrous web, the fibres in the cellulosic fibrous web being constituted by a mixture of cellulose fibres including regenerated cellulose fibres or natural cellulose staple fibres and cellulose pulp fibres, the cellulosic fibrous web being a foam-formed, hydroentangled fibrous web.

An absorbent material, such as a non-woven web or a tissue paper, includes continuous filaments and short fibers, the short fibers including natural and/or synthetic fibers or staple fibers. The absorbent material exhibits an absorbency speed of equal to or less than 2 s and a weight loss when washed of equal to or less than 5%. The absorbent material can be incorporated into a wipe.

A fibrous structure exhibits an absorbency time of equal to or less than 1.5 s and exhibits an antimicrobial effect.

Fibrous structure exhibiting an antimicrobial effect

A multi-component fiber includes at least two elongated fiber bodies. A first fiber body consists of a first material including a phase change material and a second fiber body consists of a second material and encloses the first fiber body. The phase change material is non-encapsulated or in raw form and the first material includes a viscosity modifier selected from polyolefines having a density in the range of 890-970 kg/mas measured at room temperature according to ISO 1183-2 and a melt flow rate in the range 0.1-60 g/10 minutes as measured at 190&#xb0; C. with a 21.6 kg weight according to ISO 1133. Further, a textile, a fabric and an absorbent article include the multi-component fiber.

Multi-component fibres

An absorbent article, such as a diaper, pant diaper, incontinence garment, incontinence insert, bed protecting sheet or the like intended to absorb and retain body exudates which may include low viscosity fecal materials. The article has an absorbent core () and a cover enclosing the absorbent core, the cover having a liquid pervious inner cover () on the body facing side of the absorbent core and a liquid impervious cover () on the garment facing side of the absorbent core, wherein the inner cover () in at least a fecal receiving area has parts of the rear and crotch portions () of the article has a three-dimensionally structured hydrophilic fibrous web material () having on the body facing surface a plurality of alternating recessed () and elevated portions (), wherein the recessed as well as the elevated portions are hydrophilic.

Absorbent article having improved properties of handling low-viscosity fecal materials

An absorbent article, such as a diaper, sanitary napkin, incontinence guard or panty liner, including a fluid-permeable nonwoven topsheet located on the wearer-facing side thereof. The nonwoven topsheet includes a plurality of channels arranged side-by-side. The channels are located within the nonwoven topsheet, whereby gas is allowed to pass into, out of and along the channels, thus providing ventilation of the absorbent article.

Absorbent article with ventilated topsheet

An absorbent article comprises an absorbent body, a liquid-permeable covering layer arranged over a first surface on the absorbent body, and a liquid-permeable liquid-transfer layer arranged between the absorbent body and the liquid-permeable covering layer. The liquid-permeable covering layer comprises a nonwoven material with a pore volume distribution curve with a maximum at a pore radius greater than or equal to 50 &#x3bc;m and with a wetting angle of at least 120&#xb0;. The liquid-transfer layer comprises a fibrous layer with a pore volume distribution curve with a maximum at a pore radius of from 105 to 325 &#x3bc;m.

Absorbent article with improved surface material

A fibrous structure testable in a series of run-off tests, wherein each run-off test includes exposing the fibrous structure to a volume of a test solution and the fibrous structure initially is hydrophobic and has been treated to be hydrophilic, wherein the fibrous structure exhibits a run-off level that is less than 5 percent by weight throughout a series of run-off tests, and wherein the series starts with a first run-off test and ends with a fifth run-off test.

Fibrous structure and absorbent article comprising said fibrous structure

A fibrous structure is described for use in hygienic articles such as diapers, sanitary napkins, incontinence guards, wipes and the like, having one or more polar, silicon containing compounds bound to at least one portion of the surface of the fibrous structure by interaction between the surface and the silicon containing compounds. The fibrous structure exhibits a predetermined degree of hydrophilicity and adhesion properties which are substantially unaffected by wetting of the fibrous structure. Absorbent, hygienic and textile articles comprising such a fibrous structure are also described.

Fibrous structure and absorbent article including such a fibrous structure

A method increases the wet strength of a tissue material, and a tissue material ( &prime;) which has been subjected to the method. The wet strength agent included in the tissue material ( &prime;) has an intrinsic, normal wet strength-increasing effect which can be achieved by a curing course having chemical reactions and/or physical interactions between different reactive sites of the wet strength agent, between different reactive sites of the cellulose fibres, and reaction and/or interaction between the reactive sites of the wet strength agent and of the cellulose fibres, resulting in a network of polymers which is kept together by bonds. The method includes formation of radicals and/or excited conditions with high reactivity in gas phase at atmospheric pressure, wherein the radicals and/or excited conditions increase the number of the reactions and/or interactions and/or the number of the reactive sites and thereby also the number of bonds, so that the strength of the network is increased and the tissue material ( &prime;) is conferred an increased wet strength. The method can be implemented for all tissue paper materials which include cellulose fibres and a suitable wet strength agent.
