The present disclosure relates to an image generator device () for changing the direction of at least one emitted light cone at a surface (), comprising an image generator () and a fibre optical faceplate () having a first () and a second surface (), the fibre optical faceplate () being arranged to transmit light from the image generator () so at least a part of light entering the first surface () of the fibre optical faceplate () exits through the second surface () of the fibre optical faceplate () and pass through an aperture, wherein the fibre optical faceplate () comprises a multitude of optical fibres () and light exiting the second surface () through optical fibres () each form an emitted light cone. A surface structure () is arranged at the second surface () of the fibre optical faceplate (), wherein the surface structure () is arranged to changing the direction of at least part of the emitted light cones exiting the second surface () of the fibre optical faceplate () towards the aperture.

Device, system and method for changing the direction of emitted light cones

The present disclosure relates to a landing assistance system and method () for assisting an airborne vehicle () during landing on a landing area (). The landing assistance system () provides the airborne vehicle () with light signals. The landing assistance system comprises at least one geographically positioned light emitter () arranged at near ground level on the landing area (). The present disclosure relates devices and a method for monitoring a display image () in a transparent optical projection display. They disclose a display image monitor () comprising a fiber optic face plate () and an image sensor (). The fiber optic face plate () comprises a first surface () with optic fiber ends and a second surface () with corresponding optic fiber ends and transfers light from the first surface () to the second surface () through the optic fibers, wherein the first surface abuts against a part () of the display image () at a focused image plane () and thus the light of the part of the display image enters the optic fiber ends and wherein the second surface is arranged to direct the part of the display image to the image sensor, thereby transferring the part of the display image to the image sensor.
