A device for providing sterilized or cleaned fluid to a receptacle and thereby facilitating conveyance of a substance out of the receptacle, comprising a connector and a container which form an integrated unit. The connector is provided with a first means for connection to a receptacle. Sterilized or cleaned fluid is transferred from the container to the receptacle.

The present invention concerns a male connection part for connection with a female piercing member protection device having a longitudinal cylinder-like body having a longitudinal axis C, a first side and a second side, an outer and an inner surface, a barrier member arranged at the center of the first side of the male connection member, intersecting the longitudinal axis C, and a fluid communication channel extending from the barrier member of the male connection part to the second side of the male connection part, wherein the male connection part further comprises at least one turning grip protrusion to provide for an increased turning friction between the female piercing member protection device after assembly.

Piercing member protection device

The present invention concerns an attachable membrane device for providing a piercable liquid barrier membrane to the surface of a pierceable fluid container, such as an infusion bag. The attachable membrane device have a fastening part comprising a fastening surface adapted to be attached to the surface of the pierceable fluid container and thereby provide a liquid tight seal between the fastening surface and the surface of the pierceable fluid container. Additionally, the attachable membrane device is further provided with a barrier membrane part, adapted to provide a liquid tight seal after penetration by a piercing member. Connection means is arranged to the attachable membrane device. The invention simplifies the injection or withdrawal of a fluid in a pierceable fluid container.

The invention relates to an arrangement for use with a medical device which arrangement comprises a shield for a tip of a needle member of a medical device. The arrangement comprises a filter for filtering gas to be transferred out from or into the medical device via the needle member when the arrangement is interconnected with the medical device. The filter is integrated with or constitutes at least a portion of the needle member tip shield.

Arrangement for use with a medical device

A female piercing member protection device for connection with a male connection part, and a method for connecting the device to a male connection part. The device includes an outer casing and a connection member at least partly enclosed in the outer casing. The outer casing is moveable between first and second positions. In the first position, the connection member is substantially locked from movement along the longitudinal axis A, and in the second position the connection member is able to move along the longitudinal axis A. The device also has an activated position and an inactivated position. When the outer casing is in the second position, a deformable locking device is prevented from deformation by the outer casing to prevent disengagement of the male connection part. A secure piercing member protection device significantly minimizes the risk for a user to be exposed to contaminants and the piercing member itself.

A fluid transfer device for transferring fluid from a first fluid container to a second fluid container such as a piercing member protection device. The fluid transfer device can comprise a longitudinal axis A and a first connection part comprising a connector that connects to the first fluid container. The fluid transfer device can further comprise a second connection part rotatably mounted to the first connection part by a mounting element, and the second connection part can further comprise a threaded coupling that connects the second fluid container. The mounting element can enable turning of the second connection part with respect to the first connection part. Such a device can allow a user to safely turn e.g., a syringe after assembly to read a volume indication or similar.
