Disclosed are conditioning systems comprising (a) at least one anionic surfactant chosen from isethionate surfactants; (b) coco-caprylate/caprate; and (c) at least one cationic compound, and rinse-off compositions comprising (a) an anionic surfactant system comprising i) a first anionic surfactant chosen from isethionate surfactants, and ii) optionally, a second anionic surfactant; (b) coco-caprylate/caprate; and (c) at least one cationic compound. Also disclosed are methods of treating and/or caring for the skin, hair, and/or scalp with the conditioning systems and/or rinse-off compositions containing the conditioning systems.

Compositions and methods for treating keratinous substrates

The disclosure relates to cosmetic compositions for treating, caring for, and/or conditioning keratinous substrates, the compositions comprising branched alkanes, dimethiconols, silicones other than dimethiconols and having a viscosity at 25&#xb0; C. of greater than or equal to 200&#xd7;10m/s, and non-silicone fatty compounds other than the branched alkanes. The disclosure also relates to a cosmetic treatment process using this composition, and also the use of said composition for conditioning and/or caring for keratinous substrates.

Cosmetic composition containing branched alkanes, silicones, and non-silicone fatty compounds

The disclosure relates to compositions comprising (a) at least one negatively charged amino acid and a derivative thereof, (b) at least one positively charged amino acid and a derivative thereof, (c) at least one silicone copolymer, and (d) at least one emulsifier. The disclosure also relates to packaging systems and kits comprising the compositions, and methods of using the compositions.

Hair treatment compositions containing amino acids

The present disclosure relates to a concentrated rinse-off cleansing composition that includes a high concentration of surfactants and conditioning agent(s). For example, the cleansing compositions may include: (a) surfactants system comprising: (i) one or more anionic surfactants selected from: (i-a) alkyl sulfates; alkyl ether sulfates, salts thereof, or a mixture thereof; and (i-b) optionally, one or more non-sulfate anionic surfactants; (ii) one or more alkyl polyglucosides; and (iii) one or more amphoteric surfactants; (b) one or more conditioning agents; and (c) water. The cleansing compositions are particularly useful for cleansing hair.

Concentrated rinse-off cleansing composition

The present disclosure relates to leave-on hair styling compositions comprising: (a) calcium carbonate: (b) one or more sugar alcohols; (c) one or more thickening polymers; and (d) water. The leave-on hair styling compositions do not require synthetic film-forming polymers nor do they require silicones. The leave-on hair styling compositions are particularly useful in methods for imparting durable styling or shaping benefits, providing volume and fullness, and imparting frizz control to hair.

Leave-on hair styling compositions and methods of use

The present disclosure relates to leave-on hair styling compositions comprising: (a) one or more guar compounds: (b) one or more cellulose compounds; (c) one or more glycerol esters of fatty acids; and (d) water. The leave-on hair styling compositions do not require synthetic film-forming polymers nor do they require silicones. The leave-on hair styling compositions are particularly useful in methods for imparting durable styling or shaping benefits and/or frizz control to hair.
