A disposable absorbent article to be worn about the lower torso of a wearer that facilitates an easy, intuitive change is provided. The disposable absorbent article includes at least one serviceable indicium that facilitates an easy change by providing alignment of the article relative to an anatomical feature of the wearer or by externally highlighting one or more components of the article thereby indicating alignment and fit about the wearer's lower torso.

A disposable absorbent article comprising a chassis comprising a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet joined with the topsheet, and an absorbent core interposed between the topsheet and backsheet; at least one sidewall adjacently disposed to the chassis; and at least one handle assisting in the application of the article onto a wearer. Preferred embodiments of the said handle include flaps, tabs, ridges, improved surface characteristics, apertures, loops, and combinations thereof. A kit comprising more than one absorbent article wherein the article is positioned within said kit such that the handle is readily accessible.

The present invention relates to a disposable absorbent article, e.g. a diaper, having a backsheet, an absorbent core and a topsheet, said absorbent article having a length L, said topsheet having an opening and primary elasticated areas and secondary elasticated areas, the latter being curved or angled, having an overall curvature with a radius of from 0.3 L to 3.2 L, wherein the average transverse distance between a primary elasticated area and a secondary elasticated area of a crotch side portion is preferably at least 15 mm.

A push pin device comprises a pin having a tip and an outer member coupled to and extending at least partially around the pin. The tip of the pin is located inside of the outer member in a retracted position when the outer member is uncompressed. The tip of the pin is located outside of the outer member in an extended position when the outer member is compressed. In the exemplary embodiment, the pin extends from a first portion of the outer member toward a second portion of the outer member and the first portion contacts the second portion when the outer member is compressed. When the first portion is seated in the second portion, the second portion applies an opposing force against the first portion to facilitate removal.
