A downlight includes: an outer cover; a heatsink; and a light engine located between the outer cover and the heatsink, wherein the light engine is at least partially spherical; the heatsink has a hemispherical inner surface that matches with the spherical portion of the light engine; the outer cover and the heatsink are assembled together by an elastic extension member, thereby making the hemispherical inner surface of the heatsink in contact with the spherical portion of the light engine; the downlight includes a pin provided near the elastic extension member, with one end of the pin fixed to the heatsink and the other end extending through the outer cover. Pressing the end of the pin that extends through the outer cover, the elastic extension member is further extended to separate the heatsink and the light engine so that the illumination angle of the light engine can be adjusted.

An LED lighting assembly may include a printed circuit board with an LED chip, and a heat sink thermally conducted with the printed circuit board, wherein the LED lighting assembly further comprises a light guide body configured as a bulb, the light guide body having an end surface as a light incidence surface of light from the LED chip, an outer surface as a light emergent surface and an inner surface, wherein the inner surface is structured so as to form a reflecting surface, reflecting at least part of light from the end surface to the outer surface.

A lens for a linear light source may include a top and a bottom, the bottom including an incident surface, and a first supporting surface and a second supporting surface respectively at each side of the incident surface, and the top including an emergent surface, wherein the top further comprises a total internally reflective surface, and wherein in a cross section, the emergent surface is joined with the first supporting surface, the total internally reflective surface is joined with the second supporting surface, one part of light from the linear light source incidents into the incident surface and emerges after refracted by the emergent surface, and the other part of light incidents into the incident surface and reflected by the total internally reflective surface and then emerges after refracted by the emergent surface.
