A presentation method and a presentation device presents an image of an object, wherein a starting image and at least one target image of the object, a first location within the starting image, and a second location within the starting image and the at least one target image are provided. The second location is the location of a reference feature detectable in the starting image and the at least one target image. A corridor is determined in the at least one target image, wherein the corridor contains a circular line, wherein the circular line defines a circle, whose radius corresponds to a distance between the first location and the second location in the starting image and whose centre position corresponds to said second location. Finally, the corridor and the at least one target image are presented.

Presentation method, presentation device and computer program for presenting an image of an object

A method and an apparatus display marks in an image data set, wherein an image data set comprising marks is provided and wherein during a review phase not all marks within the image data set are displayed at the same time. A list of the marks can be generated by sorting the marks depending on a predetermined sorting criterion and wherein the marks are displayed temporally one after another within the image data set in accordance with the generated list. The image data set is for example a medical image data set, wherein the marks are computer-aided detection (CAD) marks and wherein the sorting criterion is the probability of marking illness, in particular the suspiciousness.

A display system and method for the display of images wherein there is a selection of a partitioning of an image display area from a predefined set of partitionings and display of a representation of the partitioning of the image display area in an image selection area. Then, representations of images of a set of images are displayed in the image selection area. Next, an assignment is made of a selected representation of an image to be displayed to an area of the representation of the partitioning via a graphical user interface. Then, the image is displayed in a part of the image display area that corresponds to the area of the representation of the partitioning.

Display system and method for the display of images

A method and computer system for screening of medical cases in which the computer system has a user interface which enables pre-programming of a sequence of images to be reviewed for each of a group of medical cases. The pre-programming is conducted by means of symbols or icons which are selectable by a user. The pre-programming of the sequence of images is done in a configuration phase of the computer system. During the screening procedure, the user can go from one image to the next by performing a single action input operation, such as, making a mouse click or pressing a next-step button. This has the advantage that the user can fully concentrate on reviewing the medical images without distraction.
