Systems and methods for privacy-protecting hybrid cloud and premise stream processing are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing device comprising at least one computer processor, a method for processing a voice communication including restricted content may include: (1) receiving from an electronic device, a customer communication; (2) identifying restricted content in the customer communication; (3) masking or marking the restricted content in the customer communication; (4) communicating the customer communication with the masked or marked restricted content to a cloud processor; (5) receiving a processed responsive communication comprising the masked or marked restricted content from the cloud processor; (6) unmasking or unmarking the restricted content in the processed responsive communication; and (7) communicating the processed responsive communication comprising the unmasked or unmarked restricted content to the electronic device.

Systems and methods for privacy-protecting hybrid cloud and premise stream processing

A security event that is associated with one or more communication devices is detected. For example, the security event may be an unexpected change in data being sent from a communication device outside an enterprise. In response to detecting the security event, a Virtual Service Network (VSN) is created that isolates one or more communication devices that may pose a security risk. A corrective action to mitigate the security event is then implemented. For example, the corrective action may be to dynamically instantiate a firewall on the VSN that blocks the transfer of data from the communication device outside the enterprise. This allows an administrator to review the security event and take further action if necessary. Because the VSN with the firewall is created dynamically, the network remains secure while the security event is investigated.

Embodiments disclosed herein provide methods, systems, and computer readable storage media for intelligently presenting surveillance information on a mobile device. In a particular embodiment, a method provides receiving video streams each comprising video captured of a location of a premises under surveillance. The method further provides determining a device location of the mobile device in the premises and selecting at least one video stream of the video streams based on the device location and the location captured in the video of each video stream. The method also provides transferring the at least one video stream to the mobile device.

Embodiments disclosed herein provide systems, methods, and computer-readable media for accessing a wearable computing system using randomized input origins for user login. In a particular embodiment, a method provides presenting a user with a first origin on which user login information is based, wherein the first origin is randomly selected from a plurality of possible origins. The method further provides, receiving first motion information from the user indicating a first position relative to the first origin that corresponds to a first element of the user login information. Upon receiving the user login information, the method provides determining whether the user login information authorizes the user to access the wearable computing system.

Communication information is received from a Wireless Fidelity ('WiFi') interface. The WiFi interface may receive WiFi information from a WiFi endpoint and/or BLE beacons from a Bluetooth device. The reason a WiFi device can receive BLE beacons is because WiFi channels and BLE beacon frequencies overlap. The BLE beacon may come from a various types of Bluetooth devices, such as a sensor, a mobile device, a communication device, and/or the like. The communication information is filtered based on one or more defined BLE beacon channels. If there are one or more BLE beacons detected in the one or more defined BLE beacon channels, BLE information is generated. The BLE information is then sent to a communication device that tracks the BLE information. For example a network monitoring station can track the BLE information.

To allow more non-enterprise communication endpoints to communicate without having to allocate an extension for every non-enterprise communication endpoint, a request is received to communicate with an enterprise communication system from a non-enterprise communication endpoint. A temporary password is associated with a dynamic communication address (e.g., from a group of dynamic extensions). The temporary password and the dynamic communication address are sent to the non-enterprise communication endpoint. The non-enterprise communication endpoint registers with the communication system using the temporary password and the dynamic communication address. A communication session is established between the non-enterprise communication endpoint and an enterprise communication endpoint using the dynamic communication address. The temporary password is then disassociated from the dynamic communication address, thus freeing up the dynamic communication address for use with another non-enterprise communication endpoint.

A communication session identifier can act as a virtual relay between conference participants, forwarding emails, phone calls, attachments, messages, and other information from a central address associated with the communications session identifier. In this manner, a user who desires to communicate with other conference participants only needs to send the communication to the communication session identifier, which in turn distributes the communication to the other parties. These communications can include emails, social networking messages, instant messaging, voice messages, and other forms of communication.

A method and apparatus are disclosed that seek to improve the quality of service that is experienced during the transmission of a stream of packets across one or more paths. In particular, a transmitting node encodes a source stream of data (e.g., audio, video, etc.) into one or more sub-streams, and distributes those sub-streams onto multiple network transmission paths. In accordance with the illustrative embodiment of the present invention, the transmitting node evaluates the quality of service of a first network path that fails to provide a quality-of-service guarantee. When the quality of service of the first network path becomes unsatisfactory, the coding of one or more sub-streams that are being transmitted on a second network path is adjusted. In other words, the coding on a second channel is adjusted in response to the changing conditions on a first channel.

A customer uses an in store kiosk to establish a communication session, such as a video communication session between the kiosk and an agent in a contact center. The customer can transfer the communication session to the customer's personal mobile communication device by selecting to transfer the communication session at the kiosk. A presence of the customer's personal mobile communication device is detected. The presence of the customer's personal mobile communication device can be detected by the use of various technologies, such as Near Field Communications or scanning a code on the kiosk from the mobile communication device. Systems and methods that enable migration for state of an application, from a primary machine to a backup machine in platform virtualization systems. The migration employs a hybrid approach, wherein both a hypervisor, and an application itself determine states that are to migrate from the primary machine to the backup machine. Based on a direct communication between the application and the hypervisor&#x2014;without assistance of local operating system&#x2014;the hypervisor arranges for migration of the required states over to the backup virtual machine.
