Provided is an electrostatic image developing toner comprising a toner base particle containing a binder resin and a releasing agent, wherein the binder resin comprises an amorphous vinyl resin and a crystalline polyester resin; a weight-average molecular weight of the electrostatic image developing toner is in the range of 50000 to 90000, when calculated from a chromatogram which represents a molecular weight distribution and is measured by gel permeation chromatography; a ratio of content of a resin component having a molecular weight of 100000 or more is in the range of 10 to 20% by area, in the chromatogram which represents the molecular weight distribution; the crystalline polyester resin has a melting point in the range of 65 to 85&#xb0; C.; and, a ratio of content of the crystalline polyester resin in the binder resin is in the range of 5 to 20% by mass.

Electrostatic image developing toner

To provide a fixing solution and an image forming method in which faster fixing rate and faster drying rate can be achieved while the amount of fixing solution supplied is reduced and furthermore, a wet feeling in a formed image is reduced and an image having a high fixing strength can be formed. Fixing solution and image forming method

An image forming method forms a color toner image and a white toner image using an image forming apparatus having a plurality of developing machines. The color toner image is formed using a color developer containing a first carrier and at least one color toner selected from a yellow toner, a magenta toner, and a cyan toner. The white toner image is formed using a white developer containing a second carrier and a white toner containing at least titanium oxide as a pigment. Formula (1):Iw&#x3c;Ic&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)is satisfied. Ic (&#x3bc;A) is a dynamic current value of the first carrier at 100 V and Iw (&#x3bc;A) is a dynamic current value of the second carrier at 100 V.

Disclosed is a toner for electrostatic image development having excellent low-temperature fixability and high-temperature off-set resistance, attaining good image density, and having excellent homogeneity in image density. The toner comprises toner particles containing a binder resin which contains an amorphous resin (A) and an amorphous polyester resin (B) different from the resin (A) and a colorant, wherein the toner particles have a domain-matrix structure having the resin (B) as a domain phase dispersed in a matrix phase comprising the resin (A), and in a cross-sectional image of the toner particles, the number average domain diameter of the domain phase of the resin (B) having a domain diameter of 100 nm or more is 100 to 200 nm and an area ratio of the domain phase having a domain diameter of 500 nm or more relative to the total area of the domain phase is 0 to 10%.

An image forming method that can obtain a high fixing strength and reduce the occurrence of a document offset phenomenon is provided. In the image forming method the polyester resin forming the binder resin of the toner is obtained by condensing and polymerizing a carboxylic component containing at least one compound selected from chemical formula (1), (2) and (3) shown below that is an addition reactant of abietic acid and a carboxylic compound having an unsaturated double bond and an alcohol component, and the content of at least the one compound selected from the chemical formula (1), (2) and (3) in the carboxylic component is 5% by mass or more, and the fixing agent contains an alkylene carbonate which may have a substituent group or an aliphatic alkyl carboxylic acid ester which may have a substituent group. 

An image forming method is disclosed, comprising transferring and fixing steps, wherein fixing is performed by a fixing device in which at least one of a heating member and a pressing member comprises an endless belt entrained about plural rollers, and the heating member and the pressing member are pressed against each other to form a fixing nip, and wherein toner particles contains a binder resin which has a domain/matrix structure constituted of a high-elastic resin forming a domain and a low-elastic resin forming a matrix in an elastic image obtained when observing the toner particles by an atomic force microscope with respect to a section of the individual toner particles, in which an arithmetic average value of a ratio (L/W) of a major axis (L) to a minor axis (W) of individual domains is 1.5 to 5.0, and domains having the major axis (L) of 60 to 500 nm account for not less than 80% by number of total domains and domains having the minor axis (W) of 45 to 100 nm account for not less than 80% by number of total domains.

A toner for developing electrostatic image comprising a toner particle containing a binding resin is disclosed. which, and In the toner the binding resin has a domain-matrix structure composed of a high elastic resin composing a domain and a low elastic resin composing a matrix, an arithmetic mean value of ratio (L/W) of the Length L to Width W of the domains is 1.5 to 5.0, domains having Length L in the range of 60 to 500 nm exist 80 number % or more, and domains having Width Win the range of 45 to 100 nm exist 80 number % or more, in a viscoelastic image of a cross section of the toner particle observed via an atomic force microscope.
