A clear, soft and malleable plastic constructed face mask is provided that has an elastic strap that is used to secure the mask onto a patient's face. The mask comprises of a malleable aluminium strip on the top for easy molding of the mask around the patient's nose; a front opening covered with a paper filter; and two side openings covered with a paper filter. The mask provides supplemental oxygen through connection to a Y-shaped respiratory/ventilator circuit or standard oxygen tubing. The mask also allows the patient to breathe comfortably without a supplemental oxygen source. It has ribbed tubing for gas sampling. The mask allows a health care employee to visualize breathing on the clear plastic material. The mask provides filtration of aerosolized contaminants.

A method for determining coverage gaps within a geographical area served by a wireless communication network includes: (a) receiving a location report from each of a plurality of mobile units; (b) storing all location reports received from the mobile units in a database; and (c) searching the database for a position within the geographical area at which an acceptable quality wireless signal has not been received. The location report may include a measured signal quality metric of the wireless link, which may be the signal strength of the wireless link, a bit error rate of the wireless link, or both. Location reports may be displayed on a map to show coverage quality and gaps. Statistical technique and quantitative techniques can be applied on the signal quality metrics reported.

Systems and methods are disclosed to provide mobile resource management. In accordance with one embodiment, mobile communication devices, which employ location determination techniques, communicate with a server via one or more wired or wireless networks. The server provides a profile to the mobile communication devices, with the profile containing parameters which control certain operations of the mobile communication devices. The mobile communication devices provide location information to the server and communicate with the server to enable reporting, dispatching, messaging, and/or management services.

The user may refuse to respond, to respond normally with or without PVT or other information, or to respond saying only that the mobile phone is turned on. GPS tracking continues to operate, so that upon return to normal responses, no cold start of GPS tracking is involved. More intelligent, such as for example rules-based, responses can be made to ping messages, in which GPS tracking interacts with a user interface to determine how to respond flexibly to pings.

Differential correction signals for a global positioning system (GPS), which operates with signals from a plurality of orbiting satellites, are provided in a first standard format, such as a RTCM SC-104 format, for each satellite in view of a reference receiver station. The differential correction signals include range error correction signals and range rate error correction information. The differential correction signals are then encoded according to a second standard format, such as the RDS format. The transmission time of the signals in the second standard format are then prioritized. A broadcast transmitter, such as a broadcast FM transmitter, is then modulated by the prioritized signals in the second standard format and a receiver receives and demodulates the broadcast signal. The broadcast prioritized signals in the second standard format are then decoded to provide differential correction signals in the first standard format. Various prioritization schemes are provided such as: prioritizing according to the maximum range acceleration rate for the various satellites; prioritizing according to the range acceleration rate for the various satellites exceeding a predetermined absolute value; prioritizing according to range error correction signals exceeding a predetermined absolute value; and prioritizing according to the range error or acceleration corrections signals for the various satellites. In addition to prioritizing, the RTCM signals is compressed and a 1/8 minute time clock is used to simplify processing at a user receiver.
