A device for dispensing a fluid drop-by-drop can include a fluid connector to supply the fluid to be dispensed, a pump which is fluidically connected to the fluid connector, an outlet nozzle which is fluidically connected to the pump, an actuating element, and a control unit. When the actuating element is actuated, the control unit activates the pump which pumps the supplied fluid to the outlet nozzle for dispensing drop-by-drop. The outlet nozzle has an outlet opening and a fluid channel which extends as far as the outlet opening and which, in the direction of the fluid from the pump as far as the outlet opening, has a first channel portion with a first cross-sectional surface and a second channel portion with a second cross-sectional surface adjoining the first channel portion. The second cross-sectional surface can be smaller than the first cross-sectional surface.

A device for administering a fluid can include a cylinder, a piston connected to a piston rod, and a tensioning device connected to the piston rod. The tensioning device includes a ramp which is rotatable via a motor, a ramp track, and a roller which is in contact with the ramp track and which is mounted rotatably in a driver. The driver can be connected to the piston rod via a joint. In a tensioning procedure, the ramp track is rotated such that the roller runs on the region of inclination as far as the second plateau and the piston is thereby moved to its rear end position. In a dispensing procedure, the ramp track is rotated until the roller runs over a transfer region and, on account of the tensioning, is accelerated toward the first plateau and, as a result, the piston is moved toward the an dispensing end.

A device for administering a fluid can include a cylinder, a piston displaceable in the cylinder and connected to a piston rod, and a tensioning device connected to the piston rod. The tensioning device includes a ramp rotatable via a motor, and a ramp track extending along a helical line. The tensioning device includes a roller which is in contact with the ramp track. To perform a tensioning procedure, the ramp track is rotated such that the roller runs on the region of inclination as far as the second plateau so the piston is moved to its rear end position. To perform a dispensing procedure, the ramp track is rotated until the roller runs over a transfer region and is accelerated toward the first plateau, thereby the piston is moved toward an open dispensing end. A control unit determines whether the tensioning procedure and/or dispensing procedure has taken place correctly.

The tensioning device includes a ramp which is rotatable via a motor, a ramp track, and a roller which is in contact with the ramp track and which is mounted rotatably in a driver. A dose setting means can be provided which comprises a spacer and a movement unit. The movement unit can move the spacer from a neutral position into an active position between the driver and the cylinder such that the driver is stopped by the spacer and therefore the piston stroke during the movement of the piston to the open dispensing end is shorter in comparison to the case in which the spacer is in its neutral position.

In a dispensing procedure, a ramp track is rotated until a roller runs over a transfer region and is accelerated toward the first plateau and, as a result, the piston is moved toward an open dispensing end. The ramp track runs on the face side of a wall extending along a circular path. A cover engages over the ramp track, the driver and the roller and has at least one scraper extending counter to the first direction and extending within the wall as far as the inner side of the wall, and thus scrapes off lubricant located on the inner side from the inner side.
