Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method in a base station for coordinating resources in a wireless communications system with carrier aggregation in which a first group of terminal devices is served by a primary cell and one or more secondary cells under control of the base station. The method comprises obtaining information indicating arrival of a second group of terminal devices at coverage of the base station. A speed of any terminal device of the second group is higher than a speed of any terminal device of the first group. The method also comprises releasing resources on at least one secondary cell of the one or more secondary cells and allocating the released resources to the second group of terminal devices.

Method and apparatus for coordinating resources

A method performed by a first network node operating in with a Radio Access Technology with split architecture. The first network node is a Distributed Unit. The first network node receives one or more second indications from a second network node, a Centralized Unit. Node and method for enabling a wireless terminal to be served by multiple cells in a communications network

Systems, methods, and apparatus for operating RAN and CN nodes are disclosed. An example method of operating a RAN node includes receiving, from a CN node, a PDU for a wireless device that is in an inactive state. The RAN node pages the wireless device in response to receiving the PDU from the CN node. The RAN node sends a non-delivery message to the CN node in response to failure of the paging for the wireless device, where the non-delivery message includes an indication that the wireless device is in the inactive state. An example method of operating a CN node includes the CN node sending a PDU for a wireless device to a RAN node. The CN node then receives a non-delivery message from the RAN node, where the non-delivery message includes an indication that the wireless device is in an inactive state.

Methods providing UE state indication upon delivery failure and related networks and network nodes

A wireless device registers with a first PLMN having a first PLMN identity. A first plurality of RA procedures is performed while registered with the first PLMN. First information related to the first plurality of RA procedures is stored. The wireless device registers with a second PLMN having a second PLMN identity different than the first PLMN identity after registering with the first PLMN and after performing the first plurality of RA procedures. The first information is discarded responsive to registering with the second PLMN. A second plurality of RA procedures is performed while registered with the second PLMN. Second information related to the second plurality of RA procedures is stored. An information message is transmitted to the second PLMN. The information message includes a plurality of RACH reports corresponding to the second plurality of RA procedures based on the second information.

Methods providing information messages including RACH reports and related wireless devices

Embodiments include methods performed by an evolved Node B (eNB) configured with a Long-Term Evolution (LTE) radio access technology (RAT). Such methods include managing access to resources of the LTE RAT by a user equipment (UE) served by the eNB, based on one or more radio resource management (RRM) policies for the LTE RAT. According to certain embodiments, a method for allocating TEIDs by a CU-CP of a network node includes receiving, from a CU-UP, at least one uplink TEID (UL TEID) associated with a DRB. The at least one DL TEID associated with the DRB is then sent to the CU-UP.

A shared Radio Network Node, RNN, and a method for managing overload in a core network. The shared RNN is configured to serve a wireless device, and the wireless device and the RNN are operating in a wireless communications network connected to the core network.
