A device for simulating a behavior of a mammal in an environment by a virtual mammal includes a mobile head and at least one mobile eye including a first input for successive data representative of eye poses, a second input for mobility action instructions, a memory for storing information on the environment and on stabilization constraints, at least one processor assessing a current part of the environment and recording information on said current part, triggering successive movements of the head and of the eye(s) in function of said mobility action, controlling a dynamic adjustment of the successive movements of the eye(s) with respect to the successive movements of the head in function of the successive data and by using the stabilization constraints. The device further comprises a third input for training data representative of a training movement sequence of the head and the eye(s) associated with a training environment.

A method of analyzing a visual field of an individual comprises the following steps: —measuring (S) a first visual field (VF) of said individual for a first set of oculo-postural parameters of said individual when said individual performs a first task; —measuring (S) at least one additional visual field (VFi) of said individual for one additional set of said oculo-postural parameters of said individual when said individual performs an additional task; —determining (S) a functional visual space based on said first visual field (VF) and said at least one additional visual field (VFi), said functional visual space being an envelope of said first visual field and said at least one additional visual field. The additional task differs from said first task and/or said additional set of oculo-postural parameters differs from said first set of oculo-postural parameters. A corresponding ophthalmic lens is also proposed.

Method of analyzing a visual field of an individual and a corresponding ophthalmic lens

Disclosed is a method for determining an optical system intended to equip a subject, the method including the steps of: &#x2014;determining an index of sensitivity indicating, when the subject is placed in an environment including surfaces and/or borders forming globally a geometry of this environment; and landmarks associated with specific locations within the environment, how the subject relies on the global geometry and/or on the local landmarks of the environment to navigate within the environment; and&#x2014;determining the optical system based on this index of sensitivity. The invention also relates to an ophthalmic lens and to an ophthalmic filter determined by such method.
