A system for incorporating predictive health data into a mission timeline receives a predictive health event, identifies a time frame for the event, and incorporates the event into a mission timeline. The event may define a probability window with weighted probabilities overlaid onto the mission timeline. The event may define an uncorrected outcome. The uncorrected outcome is rendered onto the mission timeline at a point when the uncorrected outcome will likely occur if no remedial action is taken.

Visualization of predictive health monitoring

A system and method for automation of flight functions across an aircraft cockpit provides an open systems architecture to meet next generation mission capabilities for increased aircrew effectiveness. A mission reasoner (MR) receives inputs from a vehicle health system, mission phase analysis, and external assets (wingmen) to build a decision network based on a knowledge database providing a decision aid to automate flight functions across the cockpit. The MR reduces crew workload by providing an automated decision aid and increased situational awareness of own ship aircraft and cooperating nearby vehicle health status relating to a phase of mission success. The MR provides predictive decisions and alternative actions to complete one or more desired mission objectives and determines predictive maintenance and future failures to optimize condition-based maintenance and reduce cost.

A touchscreen fuel panel. In embodiments, the fuel panel includes a touchscreen display and a controller coupled to the touchscreen display. The controller is configured to generate a graphical user interface at the touchscreen display and receive user inputs via the touchscreen display. In embodiments, the graphical user interface includes a pump menu, valve control icons, pump status indications, fuel quantity indications, and fuel calculations. The controller may be configured to present requested information and/or generate a control signal for at least one fuel system component in response to receiving a user input representing a user interaction with the graphical user interface.

A touchscreen fuel panel with checklist automation is disclosed. In embodiments, the fuel panel includes a touchscreen display and a controller coupled to the touchscreen display. The controller is configured to generate a graphical user interface at the touchscreen display and receive user inputs via the touchscreen display. The controller is further configured to execute an automated set of fuel management checklist procedures in response to a user input. In some embodiments, the controller can be alternatively or additionally configured to execute other automated sets of checklist procedures, for example, pre-flight, in-flight, taxi/takeoff/landing (TTL), and/or post-flight procedures.

Flight control management using touchscreen interfaces

A system includes a display device and a control circuit. The control circuit generates an interface including a visual representation of a component of a platform, a status of the component indicated by a plurality of sensors associated with the platform, and one or more user interface elements corresponding to the component of the platform and one or more locations on the interface. The control circuit receives an indication of one or more gestures identifying at least one user interface element; selects an interaction guard from a plurality of interaction guards each corresponding to a respective authorization process identifying at least one authorization gesture; initiates, responsive to the selected interaction guard, the authorization process corresponding to the interaction guard; and causes, responsive to receiving the at least one authorization gesture, an operation of the component corresponding to the identified at least one user interface element.

Systems and methods for automating components with guarded touchscreen controls

A computer system in an aircraft cockpit includes a touch sensitive input device with symbology replicated at a predetermined location of a heads-up display. The touch input symbology is generally organized for input selection via directional movement; and the system orients the input origin point based on the first point of contact for each new input. The system is adapted for written text recognition with the written text and recognized letters replicated on the heads-up display at a predetermined location.
