A measuring apparatus for determining at least one measurand of a measuring medium includes a first measuring device including a first measuring sensor structured to contact the measuring medium and configured to detect measured values of the at least one measurand, the first measuring device embodied to determine a first measured value that is dependent on the at least one measurand of the measuring medium, a sampling device structured to remove a sample from the measuring medium, a second measuring device including a second measuring sensor and embodied to determine a second measured value that is dependent on the least one measurand of the sample, and an electronic control apparatus configured to receive and process the first and second measured value and to perform a verification, calibration and/or adjustment of the first measuring device using the second measured value.

Measuring device

Disclosed is an armature for receiving a sensor for measuring a medium in a container. The armature includes a hollow cylindrical housing designed to connect the armature to the container at least sectionally in the container. The housing includes first and second openings through which medium flows in or out; a service chamber formed in the interior of the housing between the first and second openings; a rotationally movable closing element in the housing, which, in a first position, opens the first and second openings to the medium and, in a second position, blocks a flow through the first and second openings; a sensor holder; and the sensor arranged on or in the sensor holder. The sensor holder is designed such that the sensitive element is arranged in the service chamber in the measuring/service position.

Armature

The present disclosure discloses a retractable assembly for immersion, flow and mounted measuring systems in analytical process technology for receiving a sensor which is designed to measure at least one measurement variable of a medium in a container, comprising: a substantially hollow-cylindrical housing comprising a housing wall, a service chamber which is formed in the interior in a region of the housing, and a dip tube which is axially movable in the housing between a service position moved out of the medium and a process position moved into the medium, the dip tube being positioned in the service chamber in the service position, the sensor being receivable in the dip tube, wherein at least one optical window is arranged in the housing wall in the region of the service chamber.

Retractable assembly for immersion, flow and mounted measuring systems in analytical process technology

The present disclosure relates to an inline sensor arrangement for the detection of measurement values of a measurand representing an analyte content of a measuring medium, which arrangement comprises: a sensor which is designed to generate and output a measurement signal correlated with the measurand, wherein the sensor has at least one sterile sensor element provided for contact with the measurement medium; and a housing surrounding the at least one sensor element, which housing encloses the sensor element in a chamber sealed tightly against an environment of the housing, and wherein the chamber contains inside it a gas volume that is designed such that an influence of harmful substances&#x2014;in particular, of reactive nitrogen and/or oxygen species&#x2014;on the at least one sensor element is largely prevented. The present disclosure further relates to a method for the production of said inline sensor arrangement, and for its commissioning.

Inline sensor arrangement, and method for producing and commissioning said inline sensor arrangement

A sensor arrangement for determining at least one measurand of a measuring medium includes at least one first sensor with a first sensing element used to record measured values of a first measurand of the measuring medium, a housing having a housing wall which surrounds a housing interior containing the first sensing element, wherein the housing interior contains a medium in particular, a liquid which has a predetermined value of the first measurand.

Sensor arrangement

The present disclosure includes an inline sensor arrangement and a method for bringing an inline sensor arrangement into service, where the inline sensor arrangement includes a sensor embodied to produce and to output a measurement signal correlated with the measured variable, and where the sensor has at least one sterile sensor element for contact with the measured medium and at least one housing, which surrounds the sensor element and encloses the sensor element in a chamber sealed from an environment of the housing. The method includes performing a heat sterilization of at least one part of the inline sensor arrangement comprising a housing exterior of the housing, opening the housing after terminating the heat sterilization, and bringing the sensor element into contact with the measured medium.

Inline sensor arrangement and method for commissioning same

The application discloses a device for drawing a liquid from a process tank to be protected from contamination, including: a first receptacle for receiving the liquid withdrawn from the process tank; a first liquid line connecting the process tank with the first receptacle; and at least one first valve assembly disposed in the first liquid line and designed to block or release liquid transport through the first liquid line. The device includes at least one pressure sensor for detecting a pressure within the first receptacle. The device is designed such that a pressure difference between the first and the second ends of the first liquid line is greater than a predetermined minimum value when the first liquid line is connected with the process tank and the process tank is to be protected from contamination.

Device and method for drawing a liquid from a process tank

An apparatus for automated determining of at least two different process parameters of a process liquid of a process, especially a bioprocess, comprising: a first measuring cell, which is embodied to provide a first measurement signal dependent on a first process parameter of a first sample of the process liquid; a second measuring cell, which is embodied to provide a second measurement signal dependent on a second process parameter of a second sample of the process liquid; and a control and evaluation system, which serves for monitoring and/or controlling the process, and which is embodied to receive and to process the first and second measurement signals, especially based on the first measurement signal to determine a measured value of the first process parameter and based on the second measurement signal to determine a measured value of the second process parameter; wherein the first measurement signal and the second measurement signal serve different functions in the context of the monitoring and/or controlling of the process. The first process parameter can be a control parameter (critical process parameter, CPP), and the second process parameter can be a product quality parameter (critical quality attribute, CQA) of the process.

Apparatus for automated determining of at least two different process parameters

A method for automated in situ determining an analyte content of a liquid sample by means of a bioanalyzer, wherein a measurement duct has at least one substrate, comprising a repeatedly performable sequence of steps as follows: (i) preparing a sensor matrix, which has a plurality of receptors, which bind the analyte and/or a further target molecule, or bring about a chemical conversion of the analyte or of the further target molecule, leading through the measurement duct a preparation solution of at least a first chemical species, wherein a plurality of the first chemical species are bound on the substrate via the functional group binding on the substrate, wherein the other functional group of the plurality of the first chemical species bound on the substrate serves as a receptor or for subsequent binding of a receptor; (ii) leading the liquid sample, through the measurement duct, wherein analyte contained in the liquid sample or in the liquid to be measured, and/or other target molecules contained in the liquid sample or the liquid to be measured, bind, preferably selectively and specifically, on the receptors or are chemically converted by the receptors, and determining a measured variable correlated with the amount of the target molecules bound or converted by the receptors, and deriving therefrom the analyte content of the liquid sample; and (iii) regenerating, especially clearing, the at least one substrate, wherein the sensor matrix and, in given cases, molecules bound thereto, especially analyte molecules, other target molecules or other molecules, are released from the substrate and/or at least partially decomposed.
