Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for compliance lifecycle management for cloud-based resources are disclosed. A selection is received of a compliance pack from a plurality of compliance packs. The compliance pack comprises a plurality of rules associated with policy compliance. The compliance pack is selected from the plurality of compliance packs via a user interface. The selection is associated with one or more resources hosted in one or more provider networks. An evaluation is performed of compliance of the one or more resources with respect to the plurality of rules of the compliance pack. Data describing the evaluation is generated and displayed. The data comprises an aggregate compliance status for at least one of the one or more resources, and the aggregate compliance status represents an aggregate compliance with the plurality of rules.

Compliance lifecycle management for cloud-based resources

Embodiments of the invention provide a set of validators that can be used to determine whether an installation is operating within desired parameters and is in compliance with any requirements. The validators may be provided with a software application or release, for example, and may be run during and/or after installation to test the application operation. A set of self-healing operations may be triggered when faults are detected by the validators. This allows a software application to auto-diagnose and auto-self-heal any detected faults.

Cloud deployment infrastructure validation engine

Embodiments for interacting with cloud computing providers are disclosed. In accordance with at least one embodiment, a resource broker receives a request for a computing task that is to be performed from a customer. The resource broker selects one of the cloud computing providers to perform at least a part of the computing task. In turn, the resource broker may obtain a gain from performance of the at least one part of the computing task by the cloud computing provider.
