Disclosed is an inkjet ink that is jettable through standard inkjet nozzles, yet creates a non-abrasive non-porous three-dimensional glass structure on a 1-100 micron-scale without the need for additional processes beyond those normally used for the inkjet decoration of glass substrates. Such an inkjet ink can avoid the drawbacks noted above and is described herein.

A glass panel includes a first surface, and a second surface and wherein the first and second surfaces are spaced apart by thickness of the glass panel. A first image is printed on the first surface of the glass panel and a second image is printed on same first surface of the glass panel and at least partially overlapping the first image. The second image printed on the first surface and at least partially overlapping the first image forms at least partially opaque imbedded into the glass panel image that when covered by a fluid becomes transparent to reveal the first image printed on the second surface of the glass panel.

Silver carbonate decomposes to form silver metal by a temperature of 280 degrees Celsius. Its use in inkjet ink allows the low-cost production of conductive metallic inks. The silver metal layer could be further processed to enhance silver decorative properties and in particular light reflective properties.

The current document discloses an inkjet ink that is characterized by exceptionally low sedimentation rate of glass frit and pigment particles. Practically, the ink reversibly gels upon extended standing, thus preventing sedimentation entirely.
