A discharge device () comprising a housing (), a container insert () rotatably arranged therein and a piston. A lateral cutout () is formed in one housing wall (), and a lateral container opening () is formed in one container wall (). In order to prevent the compound from being compressed as the compound is discharged, the lateral container opening extends continuously as far as the distal container end () without a region of the container wall adjoining the lateral container opening in the distal direction along the longitudinal axis. In order to make it easier to put in the compound, the wall thickness of the housing wall decreases continuously toward the lateral cutout (). In order to prevent clogging of the piston, the cross section of the container insert widens continuously in the distal direction.

Discharge device for bone replacement materials

This invention relates to a discharge device of the dispenser gun type, which is suitable in particular for discharging semi-solid materials such as e.g. bone replacement materials. The discharge device comprises an adapter () which is removably attached to a main body () of the discharge device. A fastening structure for attachment of a container () is formed on the adapter substantially along a proximal direction (C) contrary to the feed direction (A). As a result various types of containers can be fastened to the machine without the need to change the mechanism of the device. The container can be provided on both ends with identical external threads and can be closed by closure caps in order to enable intuitive handling. In order to improve access to points which are difficult to reach, the container may be in the form of a curved pipe or may be formed flexibly. The piston rod () of the discharge device is then also formed flexibly.

Discharge device for semi-solid materials

The invention relates to a device for removing a fluid from at least one container (), from a vial for example, said container being closed by a closure () that can be punctured. The device comprises a base body () with a container receiving portion () and a hollow needle-like puncturing organ () in order to puncture the closure () of the container () in a removal position of the container (). The aim of the invention is to enable mounting the container on the device without unintentionally puncturing the closure. This is achieved in that detent structures () are provided which retain the container () on the device in a removal position and in a mounting position which is different from said removal position. Such a device can be used in particular to fill an applicator () with one or more fluid reservoirs from one or more vitals.

A mixing device which can be connected to a discharge unit and is provided to mix one or more substances together as they are discharged from the discharge unit. The mixing device has a base element with a circumferential side wall and an insert which can be inserted into the base element in such a manner that at least one circumferential zone of said insert lies against the side wall of the base element in a sealing manner. A mixing structure with mixing channels is formed on the insert, through which mixing structure the substances can be discharged from the discharge unit.

Proposed are a medical spray head () for spraying one or more fluid substances with the use of a compressed gas, a spray device equipped therewith, and a method for using the same. In order to avoid too high a gas pressure, the spray head comprises a pressure relief valve () which guides the compressed gas out of the spray head if the gas pressure exceeds a threshold pressure. As a result, the risk of gas embolisms occurring during the use of such a spray head for medical purposes is reduced.

The invention relates to a discharge device () comprising a tank housing () having at least one outlet () at one end and having a drive means at the opposite end. A connector () can be placed over the outlet () on the discharge device. The connector comprises a releasable mounting device that can be released by manual pressure on two opposite side surfaces of the connector. One guide surface () is provided on each of the two opposite side surfaces, each being oriented diagonally to the longitudinal axis (L) of the discharge device () and spaced in the direction of the discharge device. The connector is placed over the outlet on the discharge device in a mounting position. The guide surfaces () are moved radially toward each other in a released position by pressure (F) on the side surfaces. The guide surfaces thereby slide on an edge () of the discharge device (), and the force is diverted to the edge (), so that the connector () is axially displaced away from the drive direction in the released position.

A mixing apparatus for mixing at least two components comprises a mixing chamber having a first component and at least one component chamber having a further component. The component chamber is connected to the mixing chamber by a feed line. A negative pressure device generates a negative pressure in the mixing chamber in the starting position. By activating the negative pressure device, the pressure is equalized, whereby the further component is transferred into the mixing chamber. A display apparatus is provided at the component chamber to display a pressure change in the component chamber. The display apparatus is preferably formed by elastic bellows provided at one end of the component chamber, which is disposed opposite of the end of the component chamber following the feed line.

A piston () displaceable in housing longitudinal direction, serves to eject the product from the reservoir () through an outlet opening. The piston () has an uncoupled state, in which it can be displaced in the longitudinal direction through the advancement element (), and a coupled state in which it is coupled to the advancement element (), and in which it can be displaced in the longitudinal direction relative to the housing () by the advancement element (). In the coupled state, the piston () and advancement element () airtight seals the reservoir () and, in the uncoupled state, the piston () and/or the advancement element () free/frees at least one proximal venting opening () outwardly.

A filling device () for breaking at least one ampoule () and for filling a syringe () from the ampoule is disclosed. The filling device has a base body (), which delimits at least one hollow space (). At the distal end, each hollow space has a removal opening, which is connected to a port () for the multi-use syringe. A breaking unit is designed to break the ampoule located in the hollow space. In some embodiments, the breaking unit comprises an actuating element, which is used to slide at least two ampoules onto a wedge-shaped structure, respectively, by way of a single actuating movement in the longitudinal direction, in order to apply a lateral force on the tips of the ampoules. In other embodiments, the breaking unit comprises an actuating element () that can be inserted in the transverse direction and acts directly on the tips of the ampoules in order to shatter or shear them off.

A discharge apparatus for discharging a fluid product comprises a housing () having an outlet () at a front housing end, a discharge member () which is mounted movably in the housing and the rear end of which protrudes from the rear housing end, and a mixing device () for mixing the fluid product inside the housing. The fluid product is provided in a housing volume () formed between the outlet and the discharge member. The fluid product is discharged through the outlet out of the housing by advancing the discharge member inside the housing from a rear position into a front position in the direction of the outlet. The mixing device comprises a mixing tube (), which is mounted movably between the housing and the discharge member in the housing, and at least one mixing element (), which is provided at the front end of the mixing tube and disposed inside the housing volume.

A mixing apparatus for producing a mixture of flowable components is provided. Two inlet channels for the components to be mixed open into a first mixing channel having at least one mixing element disposed therein. A second mixing channel having at least one mixing element disposed therein is connected downstream of the first mixing channel. A third inlet channel opens directly or indirectly into the second mixing channel in order to admix a third component. In further embodiments, three or more mixing channels are present. In addition, a discharge comprising such a mixing apparatus and corresponding containers and a method for mixing at least three components are provided.

A discharge device for discharging a product from a tube having a delivery outlet and a deformable wall. The discharge device according to the invention comprises a housing with a chamber that has a chamber opening and in which the tube is accommodated. A movable stopper is arranged inside the tube and is placed at the end opposite the delivery outlet and closes this end of the tube. An advancing member can be connected to the stopper and is displaceable inside the tube in the direction of the delivery outlet for discharging the fluid product from the tube.

An opening device for opening a closed fluid container comprises a housing having a first chamber () for receiving the fluid container () and a second chamber () having an outlet (). A part () of the fluid container that can be separated is arranged in the second chamber. A rotary drum () is rotatably supported in the second chamber. Said drum can be rotated from a starting position into a separating position in which it separates the separable container part from the fluid container. The rotational axis of the rotary drum is disposed at an angle to the connecting axis between the first and second chambers. A system for mixing at least two components uses such an opening device and a mixing container () having a connecting piece (), to which the opening device is removably connected to establish a fluid connection.
