A security device for a retail store display and method of use. The security device includes a securing element moveable, relative the retail store surface, from a first position to a second position to allow customer access to a product. An electromagnetic or electromagnetic lock is configured to lock the securing element in the first position, to further limit the customer access afforded by the securing element. The lockdown provided by the secondary lockdown mechanism can be used for additional protection during times of need, such as after hours or if employees are not on the sales floor.

An apparatus, a system and a method positions a cable extending from an alarm system through a housing to face the cable toward the rear of an electronic device to which the cable is attached. The housing has a sensor assembly that holds a light visible through the sensor assembly to denote an alarm condition. A sensor associated with the sensor assembly connects to a corresponding sensor port in the electronic device. A joint attached to the sensor assembly rotates to position the cable. Detachment of the sensor from the port in the electronic device disrupts a circuit formed between the alarm system, the cable and the electronic device to activate the alarm condition.

A pedestal, a system and/or a method secures and/or displays an article. The pedestal secures an article to a fixture while allowing manipulation, testing and/or maneuvering of the article with respect to the pedestal and/or a surface. A drum, cable and a spring may be used to deter theft and/or removal of the article. The article may be on display and/or may be used, manipulated, tested and/or transported by consumers in an environment, such as, for example, a retail store. The pedestal may allow for extension of the cable by pulling the article away from the pedestal and/or the drum. The pedestal, the system and/or the method may allow for extension of the cable using a spring.

A cable roller, a system and/or a method extend and/or retract a coiled cable. The cable roller, the system and/or the method secure an article to a fixture while allowing manipulation, testing and/or maneuvering of the article with respect to the fixture. A drum attaches to the fixture. The drum has a sleeve that rotates freely with respect to the central axis of the drum. A spring action of the coiled cable rotates the sleeve to extend and/or to retract the coiled cable from an underside of the fixture.

Retail security and display device

A multi-sensor alarm apparatus, may prevent and/or may deter a theft and/or a removal of one or more articles from a display stand. A base, a main body and a head unit are provided. The base and the main body are secured to the display stand. The multi-sensor alarm apparatus monitors an integrity of the attachment of the main body to the base with a separation sensor. Further, the multi-sensor alarm apparatus monitors sensors connected to the head unit and/or to the main body. The sensors may be removed and/or added as needed depending on the articles to be secured.
