The invention relates to a joint for an orthopedic device, wherein the joint includes a first element with at least one end stop element and a second element which is mounted on the first element such that it can be swivelled and has at least one contact surface that can be brought into contact with the at least one end stop element by swivelling the second element relative to the first element, wherein the at least one end stop element then counters a further swivelling of the second element relative to the first element with a force, wherein at least one contact element is fixed on the second element such that it can be detached, said contact element having at least one contact surface.

A joint for an orthopedic device, wherein the joint comprises a first element, at least one elastic element on a support, which is assembled on the first element, and a second element, which is pivotally assembled on the first element and can be swivelled in a direction between the first element and the second element, starting from a first angle of engagement, against a force applied by the at least one elastic element wherein the support comprises a contact element which rests against the second element upon reaching the first angle of engagement, wherein the contact element can be adjusted when the joint is assembled such that the first angle of engagement and a preload of the elastic element can be adjusted independently of one another.

An electromagnetic locking element for locking a joint orthosis or joint prosthesis such as a knee orthosis or knee prosthesis. The electromagnetic locking element includes a bistable solenoid with at least one coil and at least one permanent magnet, a pin, which can be retracted and extended with the aid of the solenoid for locking the joint, one or several electrical energy stores such as capacitors, and an electrical control system, which, with the aid of semiconductor switches, discharges the energy store or stores via the at least one coil of the solenoid in such a way that the pin is extended.

Electromagnetic locking element for a joint orthosis or a joint prosthesis

An orthopedic joint device having a lower leg part, a foot part that is arranged on the lower leg part about a swivel axis such that it can be swivelled, at least a first energy store, and a coupling element. The coupling element can be brought into a coupling position, in which a swivelling of the foot part relative to the lower leg part about the swivel axis in a plantar flexion direction leads to an increase in the amount of energy stored in the first energy store, and a de-coupling position. The orthopedic joint device also has at least one release element, which can be brought into a release position and a locked position. The energy stored in the first energy store can be released by bringing the release element into the release position.
