A water-based primer composition is particularly suitable for the pre-treatment of polycarbonate substrates, and has a component K1 having an aqueous epoxy resin dispersion, an aqueous polyester-polyurethane dispersion and an aqueous polyacrylate dispersion, and optionally a water-miscible organic solvent, and a second component K2 containing a water-dispersible curing agent based on isocyanate. The primers provide a strong bonding of subsequently applied adhesives to polycarbonate substrates, and permit a processing with a significant reduction in VOC emissions and the prevention of the occurrence of stress-cracks.

Water-based primer composition for polycarbonate and polycarbonate blends

An aqueous two-component aqueous dispersion adhesives, including in particular polyether-polyurethane polymers and ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers (EVA) having a glass transition temperature of greater than 0&#xb0; C. The dispersion adhesives are optimally suited for use as contact adhesives, and for gluing plastic membranes. It has been demonstrated that the adhesives or the adhesive composite items produced therewith are characterized by an exceptionally low plasticizer absorption behavior, and contact adhesion. The good heat resistance and good bonding to various bases are also advantageous.

Aqueous two-component dispersion adhesive

This invention relates to a process for sealing an above-ground or underground structure. It involves in particular the use of non-reactive dispersion adhesive compounds. This process in particular has the advantage that good and long-lived adhesion can be achieved very quickly, and that in particular the non-reactive dispersion adhesives that are used have a small tendency to absorb the plasticizers present in the PVC sealing film, so that as a result this process is best suited to assure long-lasting adhesion of PVC films with various substrates.

Use of dispersion adhesive-coated polyvinyl chloride sealing films for producing a seal

The invention relates to the use of a one-component aqueous polyurethane dispersion composition (PD) as a primer for the adhesion of plastic films (KF) by means of an aqueous one-component polyurethane dispersion adhesive (DK). The aqueous polyurethane dispersion composition (PD) comprises a polyurethane (P) and carbodiimide groups and/or carboxyl groups, and the polyurethane dispersion adhesive (DK) comprises a polyurethane (P) and carbodiimide groups, and carboxyl groups such that the aqueous polyurethane dispersion composition (PD) and the aqueous polyurethane dispersion adhesive (DK) react with one another in a polyaddition reaction when heated to a temperature of 50&#xb0; C. or more. The invention also relates to primer-coated plastic films, to composite bodies produced therefrom and to methods for the production thereof.
