A product design and process design device includes: a storage unit that stores design specification information containing the tolerance of a dimensional variation at any site of an assembly product, part dimension error information, assembly facility error information, assembly tolerance information, the part dimension error information, and the assembly facility error information, part manufacturing cost information, and facility investment cost information with respect to the assembly facility error information; a tolerance distribution processing unit that uses the assembly tolerance information to generate proposed tolerance distributions that differ in distributional combination with respect to each error, and calculates part manufacturing costs and facility investment costs; a facility planning processing unit that determines a proposed tolerance distribution, with, as an evaluation index, total production costs respectively including the sums of the part manufacturing costs and the facility investment costs calculated; and an output unit that outputs the proposed tolerance distribution.

A method for producing diesel grade fuel of plant origin by transesterifying a refined vegetable oil with a charge of a C1-C4 alcohol in the presence of a catalyst and at least 0.2 parts by volume, related to unit volume of refined vegetable oil, of an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent with a boiling point of &#x2212;42&#xb0; C. to 200&#xb0; C., comprises mixing the oil, alcohol, catalyst and solvent in a single reaction vessel under homogeneous conditions which promote transesterification to 95-98% completion and which suppress reverse glycerolysis, without stopping transesterification to remove by-product polar glycerol, and without subjecting the oil/fuel mixture to a further transesterification step with a fresh charge of alcohol and catalyst.

Transesterification of vegetable oils

The present invention relates to a method for producing Diesel grade fuel of plant origin by transesterifying a refined vegetable oil in a homogenous phase with a C1-C4 alkanol in the presence of an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent with a boiling point of 40-200&#xb0; C. and a catalyst to form a first polar phase comprising glycerol by-product and a first apolar phase comprising transesterified fuel, non-transesterified vegetable oil, and aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, separating the first polar phase and the first apolar phase, and refining the fuel from the first apolar phase, wherein the C1-C4 alcohol is used in an amount selected from the group consisting of: a stoichiometric amount; and an excess not exceeding 30% of an stoichiometric amount, and the aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent is used in an amount of at least 0.2 parts by volume relative to the unit volume of the refined vegetable oil.

Method for transesterifying vegetable oils

The present invention concerns a server control plane connections recovery method and a system for a server-gateway architecture based telecommunication network. Predetermined control data is buffered per traffic flow in the server and the buffered control data of a traffic flow is transmitted to the gateway associated with said traffic flow if there is change in said data. The transmitted control data is stored in said gateway. The server is restarted if it malfunctions and an indication about the server restart is transmitted to one or more gateways. The stored control data is transmitted back to the server from one or more gateways in response to a received server restart indication. The server control plane connections are restored to state before restart by utilizing the control data received from the gateways.

The present invention relates to a relocation method, system and network element for changing a serving radio resource control entity After an initial operating state in which a user equipment () has radio links with a serving network element () and a drift network element () supporting said serving network element () with a wireless connection, the serving network element () transmits a relocation-specific information to a target network element (). Based on the relocation-specific information, the target network element () establishes a link to the drift network element (), such that the drift network element () can receive user traffic from both the serving network element () and the target network element (). Then, the radio resource control is relocated to the target network element (). The relocation-specific information may comprise an identifier or a list of identifiers of drift network elements. Thus, existing soft handover techniques can be enhanced by allowing a user plane connection to be maintained with drift network elements. Thereby, any amount of drift network elements can be kept, with improved radio performance as a consequence.
