A tool belt comprises an inside girdle with a strap fitted through loops on the outside surface of the girdle to retain a series of tool pockets attached to the strap by means of nooses on the upper end of each of the pockets enabling easy adjustment and replacement of the pockets. The girdle is shaped to provide for maximum comfort and support of the user.

An improved tool holder includes a closed loop comprised of a rod with spaced ends and a bridging element between the spaced ends. The loop typically is closed with the head of the tool retained by the loop and handle fitting through the loop. The handle of the tool may, however, be pivoted to release the bridging section from closing the loop thereby enabling the tool to be removed from the loop. Typically, the holder is mounted on the tool belt and provides a very inexpensive, yet highly reliable manner and construction for maintaining the tool in position ready for use, yet safely retained.

The shoulder straps of the backpack are tethered to the extendable handle such that extension of the handle lifts the shoulder straps up and against the luggage to allow safe transport on the wheels. In a further feature, a movable flap is provided to cover and pad the wheels while the luggage is carried.
