A screw forwarding device for a screw feeder includes a base plate, a vibration mechanism including at least one spring and a vibration motor connected to the at least one spring, and a rail for receiving screws. The rail is connected to a first end of the at least one spring and the at least one spring is arranged at an oblique angle to the rail. The screw forwarding device further includes a fastening mechanism for rigidly connecting a second end of the at least one spring to the base plate, whereby a movement path of the vibration mechanism, during a use of the screw forwarding device, defines a plane of movement. The base plate is oriented substantially parallel to the plane of movement defined by the vibration mechanism.

A method performed by a monitoring node associated with a tool communication network of monitoring energy flow in a tightening tool connected to the communication network includes receiving, from the tightening tool, parameter values relating to current fed (I) into the tightening tool, angle (&#x3b1;) of a rotor in the tightening tool and torque (T) applied to a joint by the tightening tool. The method also includes calculating energy input to the tightening tool based on the received parameter values, calculating energy transferred to the joint by the tightening tool based on the received parameter values relating to the torque applied to the joint by the tightening tool and the angle (&#x3b1;) of the rotor in the tightening tool. The method further includes detecting that the calculated energy input deviates from the calculated energy transferred to the joint by more than a predetermined value.

A repositionable power wrench includes a housing, a motor arranged inside the housing, and an output shaft, which is rotationally connected to the motor and telescopically arranged with respect to the housing to allow axial movement of the output shaft with respect to the housing between a fully extended position (E) and a fully compressed position, with a resilient member being arranged to urge the output shaft towards the fully extended position (E). The power wrench also includes or is connectable to a positioning system arranged to monitor a position of the power wrench. The output shaft includes an output end arranged to interact with a fastener. A sensor is arranged to monitor a level of extension (E) of the output shaft with respect to the housing, such that the position of the output end of the output shaft may be determined.

A power tool including: a motor; a shaft for delivering a torque to a joint or the like, the shaft being drivingly connected to the motor; and a housing that at least partly houses the motor and the shaft. The shaft includes a longitudinal cavity in which a torque transducer is arranged to measure a torque acting over a portion of the shaft, wherein the longitudinal cavity includes: a first contact surface for torque transferring contact with a first end portion of the torque transducer; and a second contact surface, separated from the first contact surface, for torque transferring contact with a second end portion of the torque transducer, the portion over which the torque is measured being located between the first and second contact surfaces.
