Screw compressor with a compression chamber that is formed by a compression housing, in which a pair of meshed helical compressor rotors in the form of a screw are rotatably mounted and with a drive motor that is provided with a motor chamber formed by a motor housing, in which a motor shaft is rotatably mounted. The motor shaft drives at least one of the aforementioned two compressor rotors, where the compression housing and the motor housing are connected directly together to form a compressor housing, where the rotor shafts of the compressor rotors, as well as the motor shaft, extend along axial directions that are oblique or transverse to the horizontal plane. The motor chamber and the compression chamber have the same or similar pressure.

Device for separating liquid from a gas stream coming from a liquid injected vacuum pump or compressor

A device for controlling the oil temperature of an oil-injected compressor installation with a compressor element that is provided with a gas inlet and an outlet for compressed gas that is connected to an oil separator that is connected by an injection pipe to the compressor element. A cooler is affixed in a part of the injection pipe that can be bypassed by means of a bypass pipe. The device is also provided with an extra pipe that is intended to be connected in parallel with the bypass pipe and the cooler, and in which an energy recovery system can be connected. Additionally, the device is provided with a flow distributor through the cooler, the bypass pipe and the extra pipe, and a controller for controlling these temperature control devices at the outlet of the compressor element.

Method for preventing condensate in the oil of an oil-injected compressor (), characterised in that before the compressor element () is stopped, when the maximum pressure (pmax) in the consumer network () has been reached, the compressor element continues to be driven until the temperature (T) of the oil or the compressed gas is lower than a set fixed or calculated minimum value (Tmin) above which there is no or as little condensate as possible in the oil.
