A contact force measuring device for measuring a contact force of a spring contact includes a measuring probe having a height in a contact region identical to the height of the contact pin that fits into an opening defined between a pair of opposing spring contact arms of the spring contact. The probe includes an upper insulator element attached to an upper side of a piezoelectric element, and a lower insulator element is attached to a lower side of the piezoelectric element opposite the upper side. The contact force measuring device includes a holding device connected to one end of the probe, an evaluation unit, a supporting device and a positioning device.

A production machine in the plastics processing industry includes multiple cavities and multiple piezoelectric pressure transducers. At least one piezoelectric pressure transducer is arranged at each cavity and captures an internal tool pressure inside the cavity and returns an electrical charge signal for each internal tool pressure detected. A cabling interface conducts the electrical charge signal away from piezoelectric pressure transducer via an inner cable. Each of the inner cables can be connected electrically to the cabling interface via at least two different connection standards.

A force sensor for measuring axially occurring forces in manually operated or pneumatic presses has a central axis and an outer diameter and includes a bolt and a nut that preload between them a piezoelectric force washer with a plug connection. The washer has an inner end face defining a first bore having a first diameter with an internal thread. The bolt defines a throughbore with an internal diameter, a head portion and a hollow shaft defining a frontal external thread extending through the force washer and engaging the nut's internal thread. The nut or the head portion defines a second bore with a second diameter measuring smaller than the shafts internal diameter but at least one quarter of the outer diameter and at least as long as its diameter. The inner wall of the second bore defines a center mount for a sliding fit.

A piezoelectric sensor for bending moment measurements has measuring elements separating at their axes and electrically connecting both halves with their opposing directions of polarization. Such a sensor, mounted with its axis on the neutral bending axis of a machine structure, thus measures concurrently both tension and compression of the machine on both sides of the axis thereof.

Transverse force measurement

The invention relates to a measuring sensor held under pre-stress for measuring forces and/or torques. In the inventive embodiment, a sensor is integrated into an adapter sleeve, which is configured in a compact manner in such a way that it is equipped with devices for connection to an adapter part and devices for fixing to a measuring component. The sensor is subjected to the required pre-stress by connecting the adapter sleeve to the adapter part. An amplification module can also be mounted in the adapter sleeve.
