Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wellbore plugs, and specifically to pump down wiper plug assemblies used for conducting casing integrity pressure tests and completing wellbores. A plug assembly comprises one or more of a mandrel, a wiper, a dissolvable member, a rupture disk, and a movable sleeve. The dissolvable member and the rupture disk are configured to temporarily close fluid flow through an inner bore of the mandrel. The entire or only a portion of the outer surface of the dissolvable member comprises a protective coating.

Embodiments presented provide for an apparatus that provides a dislodgable plug seat that is used to capture a cement wiper plug for wellbore cementing operations. The apparatus further includes a collar having a ball seat and a closing sleeve configured to be shifted from an open position to a closed position. In the open position, a fluid pathway between an interior volume and a wellbore annulus is unblocked, and in the closed position the fluid pathway is blocked. A split ring is shiftable with the closing sleeve between a retained configuration when the closing sleeve is in the open position and an expanded configuration when the closing sleeve is in the closed position. The split ring holds the dislodgable plug seat in place within the body in the retained configuration and releases the dislodgable plug seat in the expanded configuration.

Pump out stage cementing system

Aspects of the disclosure relate to stage collars and related methods of operation thereof for stage cementing operations. In one implementation, a stage collar for stage cementing operations includes a barrel, and an activation sleeve disposed at least partially in the barrel. The activation sleeve includes first fluid openings. The stage collar includes an activation ring that includes an activation seat. The stage collar includes a first set of shear fasteners coupling the activation ring to the activation sleeve, and a second set of shear fasteners coupling the activation sleeve to the barrel. The stage collar includes a setting piston, and a closing sleeve disposed at least partially in the barrel. The closing sleeve includes second fluid openings. The stage collar includes a third set of shear fasteners coupling the closing sleeve to the barrel.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to apparatus and methods for regulating flow from a geological formation, and associated components thereof. In one implementation, an apparatus for regulating a multi-phase fluid stream flowing from a subterranean geological formation includes a conduit. The conduit includes an outer wall, a primary flow path for a fluid stream, and a first restriction having a throat portion. A first return path includes a return channel, and the return channel is fluidly connected to the primary flow path through a return inlet and a return outlet. The apparatus includes a gas siphon port formed in the outer wall of the conduit, and a gas siphon path extending from the conduit. The gas siphon path is fluidly connected to the gas siphon port.

Apparatus and methods for regulating flow from a geological formation

Aspects of the disclosure relate to convertible float valve assemblies, and associated components thereof, and methods of using convertible float valve assemblies. A convertible float valve assembly may comprise a sleeve, one or more valves and valve bodies coupled to the sleeve, and a collet coupled to the sleeve. A method may comprise lowering the convertible float valve assembly and a ball downhole, seating the ball on the collet, and releasing the sleeve from the one or more valve bodies.

A sand and gas separation system for use with a rod pump. The system comprises an upper separator configured to separate out gas from wellbore fluids prior to flowing into the rod pump. The system further comprises a lower separator configured to separate out sand from wellbore fluids prior to flowing into the upper separator. The upper and lower separators are coupled together by a mechanical coupling.

A sand guard system having an outer housing, a wedge assembly disposed in the outer housing, and an inner tube disposed in the outer housing such that an annulus is formed between the inner tube and the outer housing. The inner tube has a plurality of slots configured to filter out solids from fluids flowing from the annulus into the inner tube through the slots.

A printed anode is provided that obviates the need for a discrete anode current collector, thereby reducing the size of the battery. An advantageous electrolyte is provided that enables the use of a metallic cathode current collector, thereby improving the performance of the battery. Printable gelled electrolytes and separators are provided, enabling the construction of both co-facial and co-planar batteries. Cell contacts are provided that reduce the potential for electrolyte creepage in the flat, flexible electrochemical cells of the within invention.

Flexible thin printed battery and device and method of manufacturing same

The invention is a 1.5 volt primary electrochemical battery cell with an alkali metal lithium negative electrode (such as lithium), a positive electrode (comprising iron disulfide for example) and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The electrolyte has a solute including lithium iodide dissolved in an ether-containing solvent including a 1,2-dimethoxypropane based solvent component and no more than 30 volume percent 1,2-dimethoxyethane. When 1,2-dimethoxypropane is used to replace at least most 1,2-dimethoxyethane in the solvent, the cell provides good discharge capacity at low temperature while maintaining excellent discharge capacity at room temperature.

An electrochemical battery cell with CuO, where x is from 0.9 to 1.3, as a positive electrode active material. The specific surface area of the CuO is from 1.0 to 4.0 m/gram, preferably from 1.0 to 2.9 m/g to provide an increase in the high voltage discharge capacity of the CuO.
